Top 5 clubs if we're talking pre-2000 history are Liverpool, United, Arsenal, Everton and Villa. If we're talking all time history up until today, then its United, Liverpool, Arsenal, City and Chelsea. At least in my opinion anyway. I do see the argument for newcastle tho, defo have underrated history.
In order within tiers from left (bigger) to right S: Liverpool Man United Massive gap A+: Arsenal A: City* Chelsea* Everton Villa Spurs B: Newcastle Forest Wolves West Ham Leicester C: Ipswich Southampton D: Palace Fulham E: Brighton Brentford Bournemouth City and Chelsea with asterisk because they cheated their way ahead of all the other clubs in A and B tier
I am 31 years old, followed football for 25 years and this is a top 5 most deluded take I have ever seen. You should never comment on this sport again. Seriously. Newcastle have spent more seasons in the top flight than Ipswich have spent in the whole football league. Tractor Boys spent only 27 years in the top flight. Toon have more trophies by far, a bigger fanbase, infrastructure, legacy etc. They have a better past, present and future Literally the only thing Ipswich have over Newcastle is the better performance in Europe, and Sir Bobby having his peak years there I am a neutral here (Liverpool fan) too but oh my word your comment was a ‘that’s enough internet for today’ moment
Mate you’ve misunderstood- what I meant to say was Ipswich have a shed ton of history and should be higher. And also we (my team, arsenal) are miles clear of Newcastle, I was stating 2 different things, defo agree Newcastle are bigger than Ipswich 👍
@@LetsAllCheerWhenTottenhamLose you didn’t mention Arsenal kek but fairs my bad bro I apologise, I did think the anti Spurs name was odd for an East Anglian lol. Arsenal ofc are 3rd biggest it’s absurd they weren’t ranked that. I had Ipswich at 14th biggest within PL tho, one below channel owners rank. I like them but still think you severely overestimated them. 1 league 1 FA Cup 1 UEFA cup is less distinguished than the likes of Wolves, Forest and even West Ham. They are 16th out of the 20 in # of top flight season list also. Who would you rank them above from this video? Newcastle are 9th at best for comparison sake, current ‘big 6’ and Everton + Villa are always the top 8
Where would you put Newcastle in that case then? For me I’d have them between Chelsea & Spurs, think it’s a massive overstatement them being They Are History
Sorry mate this is pretty poor. A lot of European history (Wolves, West Ham, Spurs) you completely missed out. And gotta defend my boys obv (Brentford) one of the biggest in London pre-war, finished 5th in the old 1st division, and the only English club to have a 100% home league record, a few moments🐝🐝
its a difficult one spurs are a very decorated team in terms of history winning 2 div ones 8 FA Cups, 4 League cups however i didnt make it clear in the video i was ranking teams based on before like the 2000's
everton are bigger than newcastle, villa and spurs. 9 league titles, 5 fa cups, 9 community shields, 1 european cup winners cup
Newcastle above Chelsea, Villa, and City is the single worst thing I've ever heard in my life. This is an imprisonable list, lord have mercy.
tbh in terms of pre 2000's Newcastle and City have a similar history. However they should not be above Everton or Villa.
Everton is much bigger club than Newcastle and Villa...
Newcastle yes. Villa 50/50
Southampton 'A few moments' is absolutely shocking from you....
Only moments i could think of is the 9-0’s but except from that i think they should be lower too

My man got Julian Dicks and Dixie Dean mixed up and just chose to keep it in the video lol
lol this is TERRIBLE
wel... you see .... yh i cant dig myself out of this one can i
Apparently history stopped counting after 2003
great video. once gunner always gunner
newcastle in they are history but not villa
yh idk why i put newcastle above villa

Newcastle? Everton and Villa way bigger than Newcastle. There is still time to update this my friend, there is still time!
West ham fan here. We haven't won the first division or the league cup...

@@eddieneddie no need to apologise mate, keep up the good content 👍
idk if i've ever seen a worse list than this one tbh
thanks bro :). nah ik its not great looking back theres a lot of things i should change but 2/3rds are mostly right imo
What are Newcastle doing there?!
i think i may have placed newcastle a bit high looking at this they shouldnt be above Villa or Spurs
Ipswich have a shed ton of history, and we’re miles clear of Newcastle - other than that, it’s a good list

I’d potentially put them up against West Ham, maybe at a stretch wolves, but I think that Forest & city are bigger.
