hi, I don’t want to give unsolicited advice, so feel free to ignore me, but the main rule in baking is to follow the directions. Baking, unlike cooking, is an exact science. Once you get used to it, you can take creative liberties. :)))))
@@lily_edwards No worries. I appreciate the advice. And Trust me, I DO followthe directions...to a "T", but cookies are either over/under cooked, brownies rock hard outside and almost raw inside..... i know the oven temp is very impt as is the time it's in there. it just never works out right. Edible YES, but not right. LOL
Love homemade mince pies. Little info growing up they always had animal suet in, recently they've become vegetarian friendly and also vegan ones available here in the UK.
Snap is a cat and it is her prerogative to sleep all day ❤ Won't it save you a lot of time if you weigh all your ingredients beforehand and put it in containers on the counter and then you start preparing and baking and then you do not have to run around getting everything? Your baking looks delicious 😋
Lol at the Americans in her stream not knowing that you can mince fruit, just like you can mince garlic or mince meat. It's like being able to chop fruit just as you chop meat or chop vegetables. 'Mince' is a verb, it's not specific to meat. My mother was amused by that when I told her about their confusion over the fruit mince pies.
I’m an American and it’s known here by the majority of people. It’s just a cutting technique. The people who do not know it most likely do not cook, bake, or watch shows that do. This really goes for all over the world not just Americans. However not sure how you know they are Americans in the first place.
@@gh0stlyd4niel It seems to be people who don't know about fruit mince pies, which are definitely a thing in the UK and Australia. It could be anyone who speaks English in her comments, of course, but the majority of people online do tend to be American. They could be Canadian, of course, or from anywhere else, and just happen to be able to write in English. I'm happy to hear from them in reply to this comment, if any of them are here.
@@gabihehehebut still commenting. I’m sorry you don’t like how she’s communicating her opinions, but they are just that- opinions! Everyone has their own and that’s okay. Just try to put your mental energy into something else like making food you enjoy
i live vicariously thru your baking. i can NOT bake to save my life. (except for boxed cake and maybe a pie). this is fun!
