If the pan servo is running from the FC/iNav then you can change the range in the Servos tab and get greater than 180deg pan. I believe using 800 for min and 2200 for max should work, but tweak with the setup to see how far you can get the servo to go. And not trying to be a jerk, but he was flying in AIR mode (per the OSD) which is stabilized, just not self leveling. Manual mode will display as MAN in the OSD.
You should try separate FPV gear and RC rx on the same plane. Then the passenger can look around freely. Another cool idea: fly-by-headtracker: put your plane into some sort of stabilization mode with pitch roll limiting and by flicking a switch on your TX use the headtracker pitch+roll control the plane so that it flies where you look (much like how women drive cars).
The reason the goggles dont see the issue when switching between NTSC & PAL is because theyre designed these days to automatically switch between the 2- there will however be a change in what appears to be aspect ratio but this is too is caused by the differences between NTSC & PAL... The remedy is to make sure both/all cameras are outputting the same format & most modern FPV cameras can be changed within each camera's menu... I've had to do this recently for my duel camera Sky Hawk V2. BTW, that SU31 that was given to your daughter Stu- where'd he originally buy it & what is the brand, please? Ive been given one minus the wings & had thought about trying to put it in the air again... That one had the same landing gear as mine which Ive not seen on others so assuming same manufacturer/kit supplier?
The more i watch Tony fly the more i want to buy a wing. I do wonder about the cost is it more or less than drones and is there a simulator to get familiar in?
Depends on what you buy...a smaller zohd orbit you can build for around $250 or so. But go a bigger wing you will pay far more. I have close to $800 in mine currently with the equipment installed.
how the hell are you getting 22 sats? 😅 i tested the beitans and the matek one on a kwad without any vtx on/ gopro and just got 10 sats...... with vtx on it pumped up to 20 and all over the place 🤔 btw i really wanna have those strobes/ position lights!! 😁
The flight envelope of fixed wing is pretty boring compared to acro on a quad but if you like proximity fpv, look up the Horizon Hobby Ultrix. It's a toothpick wing with brushless motors.
Why don't they make servo harnesses cage just for quadcopter cameras to change the uptilt of your main FPV camera on a quad from 0 to 60 or whatever? If I could have a flip switch on my transmitter to flip between either 0 degrees uptilt (for Level/Horizon/3D Flight) and 45 degrees uptilt (for Acro mode) that would be awesome. I dont' need any gradiations in between to a POT, but you could do that too (more annoying and fiddly from experience in the SIM). Other useful stop point settings might be -90, -45, 0, 30, 45, 60, 90, etc. I mean, you could just hot glue your camera onto a sideways servo and run that to an RX servo connector and mount that on the front of your quad and it would work... but... kinda ghetto. I'm thinking maybe a really tiny servo, or a control rod linkage to an internal or mid or rear mount servo. fpv.air-war.org
Short range Tony on 5.8g....Stu : "Don't fly so far away"....Hilarious....FGS get some 1.2g video on those wings...It will work alongside 915mhz control.
Nice wing 👍👍👍
Dual is the word you're looking for
that wing looks EPIC and perfect weather to fly
A fighting FPV Cam?! Yay!!
no, two of them 😂
Really enjoyed that, love a bit of fixed wing FPV

Love these dart videos!. Can we have more in the future?!
Wow.. i had only a single cam on my wing.. now i need to fix a dual cam.. looks cool having another one.. 😁👍
I was going to say the caption tile for the video should have read "DUAL FPV Cam" ... but they were at least fighting each other for video format :p

Head tracker would be cooler.👍
Killin it!
Fun flight. Where can you get such lights?
very stable in flight I'm assuming he's running Inav on an FC?
Pretty cool. Thats a crazy location..sheep and beach. lol
''En route to home'' thats a nice frenchglish sentence xD
Damn that looks like a gunship with thermal camera in black and white
(CodMW)
Great vid! Now you've got me wanting a wing tutorial to boot. Cheers!
Stew - Do you have a link for the lights?? Really cool. Love this video.
be cool to do a 360 degree uav camera that while you fly you can pan around in all directions
I kinda want a wing now....

what gps module you're using? 22 sats!!

Don't you guys know the difference between PAL and NTCS? If you already build two CAMs on the plane, then in the same system ?! ^^

Would be good with a cam that popped out the bottom and pans around
Hey Stew, great bonus vid.
Quick question: I have the same goggles, do you think putting rapidfire on the attitude v5 would make a big difference?
8:01 you forgot the title card stew
Nice, but that pooper scooper, well I am not sure about it.😉
Link for the led lighting?
Think it was a matek f722 as I have a similar set up.
With the F722 you don't need a separate video switch, he likely has F411-Wing, or F405-wing in this one. F411-WSE also has video switching.
Bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb lol
FUN
it’s DUAL not DUEL on the thumbnail!!!
Seems flying fpv with that would be harder then with a quad

I like Tony but I miss Trev. And Cal
