I like your review, you point out not only the good features but you mention the flaws as well. I like your little improvements like the anchor/bungee cord and making it blend into cover better by adding the camo netting. All of your videos are superb and very well done.
that's a neet little blind (hide)! if that camo mesh you put over it had some more darker green colors in it, it would sure blend in a lot better, even if you were to put a few freshly cut branches within that mesh it would help. but that looks pretty good. :)
I have a similar blind. When it is 'open', try sitting down and then pulling the tent over your head. That's what my instruction manual said. I use it for deer and turkey. (Canada)
Great review, thankyou, just thinking about a tent hide and these look ideal although i think i'll go for the 2 man. Does the back of the hide have any loops at the bottom for pegging it down tent style. many thanks Paul
I never was a big fan of pop up hides but i really like this bush chair hide its smaller than a hide i'd build with hide poles and netting but much comfier and it helps keep you out of the weather. It suites batting crows and magpies to a central spot but not so good with decoying wood pigeons over stubble as the hide is quit small making it hard to mount a rifle and has a limited arch of fire. You do get a two man hide which is bigger that i have thought about getting to see if it would improve the arch of fire but i haven't put my hand in my pocket to buy one yet.
hi i am a bit late to the party with this question. i just found your video of this hide. my question is can you use this hide to shoot pigeons of a farm shed roof?
Ahh to be honest i'm not sure as you can only lift the rifle upwards so high as i have tried to use it to shoot birds in trees before and found i was running out of upward movement though i did use it successfully inside a barn shooting jackdaws from the roof beams so it would really depend on how steep an angle your shooting.
Rabbits can have a strong game taste, but the main reason i shoot is because i am good at it and i get asked by farmers to help control rabbits, crows, magpies etc to help protect livestock ie lambs, crops and even the feed set out for the cattle etc, but i don't ask for any money. Please don't swear in your comments.
I would recommend this chair to anyone, especially hunters. Here are the highlights as I see them: here is the link to it in case anyone is interested: amzn.to\14fjSUZ

Yes i have used it many times successively on crows and magpies but it can be difficult shooting into tall trees from the hide.
Great review, nice to find an honest one which shows the good as well as the not so good. Your videos are great, please keep up the good work!

I'm a radio ham not a shooter, but I'd suggest using a gun instead of this ✌
Can we buy this in the US?
Where do you find that mesh at?
Thanks for your reply much appreciated I notice on your set up now with the bushchair you have ghillie material looks good 👍
Your welcome, I got the idea from watching one of Chris Green Westcountry pigeon shooting films.
Only if you set it up over a puddle.
It probably is my accent but glad you saw the funny side of it.
Ether that or it has seen a bush that it likes.
