what makes it so much better is their ability to grind their body like that. they were able to deliver a mixture of feminity and masculinity in this performnce which is so pleasing to the eyes. very balanced. i like their version better. they brought so much class, sex appeal, power, and taste into the table. i was entranced the whole time watching them dance. wow.

the original exo choreography may seem easy to do at first because it is a bit slower than their other choreographies.. but to do it top notch, one needs to do a lot of intrinate body movements as well. this choreo has much more movement

Things I love about this performance: 1. Xin Liu, Kiki, and K Lu They completely nail the girl-crush styled concept, loved Xin and K's gaze in particular, Kiki's kick almost made me think she was gonna do a split gODDAMN HER LEGS ARE LONG 2. Jenny, Ruohang I weirdly loved Ruohuang's vocals in this?? They're so light, it contrasts the hard-hitting energy of the song in a gorgeous way. Jenny to me is just really hot. 3. The gay panic from the other trainees Because... honestly same.
Can't help but to compare this survival show to the other korean survival show. For me, this program is far better than some of korean programs. IQIYI treats their trainees good, trainees even reveal that they gain weight after joining the program😂 Also, the trainees were not all about "cuteness" they are all about "coolness" and "stage presence"
Its really fun if you find out others video which reveal their daily life(with no English Sub). They do have plan to control trainee's diet, but some of naughty girls try so hard to buy snacks from the vendor's store. Then they use snacks to make out friends in their dorm after daily training. One girl even bring a small pot to stew instant noodle and other ingredients（river snails rice noodle）almost every night, and she is the only one who can eat a lot but not gaining on the weight. Lot of trainees would visit her dorm once they are getting hungry and they all gaining some weight. Tbh, most of Chinese won't criticize you if you are not obesity, little fat will be more considered adorable and cute.
Btw, one trainee was caught by their supervisor of dorm when she buying snacks in the vendor store at midnight. Then she got punish and climbed stairs 50 times from 1st floor to 15th floor. Anyway, they keep doing this like Jerry & Tom.
Lisa is the best teacher. I love how she points things out in the dance and fixes it for them because look at this performance now, 11Million views and is ONE of the best covers of EXO's The Eve. Lisa taught them how to not exaggerate the moves and this is really pleasing to see. I've seen other covers and the dance moves are exaggerated and not as sharp as this one. INVITE LISA AGAIN!!!
Lisa is really a great teacher but please remember all of the trainees in this song has strong dance ability from the start, also good stage presence, so when good teacher meet good students this is what happen.
Before you say anything abt their singing, lemme just share to the newcomers that THIS ROUND IS DIVIDED INTO 3 UNITS which are- dance, vocal, and rap. This group right here is a DANCE UNIT, the evaluation mainly focuses on dance. charisma and stage presence are also included, it is on how they control the atmosphere on the stage or deliver themselves. this is by far the most charismatic group of all. They let the concept consume themselves and does not put any duality unlike other groups who break out from their concepts by showing different expressions such as smiling and others when they're supposed to look strong.
sorry but if xin liu is the centre, she will outshine other memebers which will effect the balnce of the group so i guess its best if xin liu is the main dancer cause GOD hes dancing skills are point! and kiki on the other side just has the charisma and her moves are smooth as she is the glue for the team to get together. she doesnt outshine other members as well!!

kiki really balanced the whole team as a center, being cool and sexy (also kiki starting the song really made people fall in love with her) and she assured that all of the members can shine. they didn’t win 1st among the dance teams, but their overall performance and charisma speaks loud.

She's a great center. Although many people preferred the girl with short hair (don't want to butcher her name) since she was cooler and more popular, I believe Kiki was a perfect center. Her dance was not too forced but not sloppy. Everything was sharp. Good choice

This group embodied the whole song better than GP999 group tbh. Like GP999 may have sung and danced at the same time, but they didn't really embody and express the song rlly well, like everything abt their performance felt forced. And this is why this performance will always be the better one to watch, even if they were just dancing.
They had better interpretation about this song, and this team bond is good because most of them is mature and experienced (the most important, no language barrier, so they could understand each other better).

the original exo choreography may seem easy to do at first because it is a bit slower than their other choreographies.. but to do it top notch, one needs to do a lot of intrinate body movements as well. this choreo has much more movement

I weirdly loved Ruohuang's vocals in this?? They're so light, it contrasts the hard-hitting energy of the song in a gorgeous way. Jenny to me is just really hot.

Can't help but to compare this survival show to the other korean survival show. For me, this program is far better than some of korean programs. IQIYI treats their trainees good, trainees even reveal that they gain weight after joining the program😂 Also, the trainees were not all about "cuteness" they are all about "coolness" and "stage presence"

Its really fun if you find out others video which reveal their daily life(with no English Sub). They do have plan to control trainee's diet, but some of naughty girls try so hard to buy snacks from the vendor's store. Then they use snacks to make out friends in their dorm after daily training. One girl even bring a small pot to stew instant noodle and other ingredients（river snails rice noodle）almost every night, and she is the only one who can eat a lot but not gaining on the weight. Lot of trainees would visit her dorm once they are getting hungry and they all gaining some weight. Tbh, most of Chinese won't criticize you if you are not obesity, little fat will be more considered adorable and cute.

Lisa is the best teacher. I love how she points things out in the dance and fixes it for them because look at this performance now, 11Million views and is ONE of the best covers of EXO's The Eve. Lisa taught them how to not exaggerate the moves and this is really pleasing to see. I've seen other covers and the dance moves are exaggerated and not as sharp as this one. INVITE LISA AGAIN!!!
Lisa is really a great teacher but please remember all of the trainees in this song has strong dance ability from the start, also good stage presence, so when good teacher meet good students this is what happen.

this is by far the most charismatic group of all. They let the concept consume themselves and does not put any duality unlike other groups who break out from their concepts by showing different expressions such as smiling and others when they're supposed to look strong.

kiki really balanced the whole team as a center, being cool and sexy (also kiki starting the song really made people fall in love with her) and she assured that all of the members can shine. they didn’t win 1st among the dance teams, but their overall performance and charisma speaks loud.

She's a great center. Although many people preferred the girl with short hair (don't want to butcher her name) since she was cooler and more popular, I believe Kiki was a perfect center. Her dance was not too forced but not sloppy. Everything was sharp. Good choice

Gp999 is aiming to create a group in which all members have stability and talent + stage presence like a typical group in korea would have . If you check of the9 they are one of the best groups because in their show they were groomed in thier areas very well.

This group embodied the whole song better than GP999 group tbh. Like GP999 may have sung and danced at the same time, but they didn't really embody and express the song rlly well, like everything abt their performance felt forced. And this is why this performance will always be the better one to watch, even if they were just dancing.
They had better interpretation about this song, and this team bond is good because most of them is mature and experienced (the most important, no language barrier, so they could understand each other better).

They also got praised by the eve's choreographers, esp kiki xu here. Watching the gp999 performance... the whole energy/aura just felt forced, and it felt like they were doing inadequately but at the same time doing too much. It's hard to explain tbh.

In my opinion, these girls are way more charismatic and have way more stage presence than the gp999 girls (although the gp999 also did a great job and their vocals are outstanding), but in terms of talent and facial expressions, ywy is better. Especially kiki and xin liu.. their presence alone is enough to make the whole croud go crazy..
