I'm honestly so impressed with these, they've come out of seemingly nowhere and blow most others out of the water. Honestly can't wait to see what they do next. Oh and was speaking to the owner and they're making a birch white dial soon. That is going to be stunning. Great work as always mate.
Thanks, Wes. I probably wont buy the Birch white...but there's no doubt it'll be a stunner. I'm actually really looking forward to their DJ and BB58. the BB has the correct case size, which will be nice. and the DJ because of those dial textures they are showing. give me a white dial DJ and I'm sold.
It's good to see a new company that gives you new options! It's always better than some who offer you new models, but always with the same colors... Thanks for the review!
The finishing looks spectacular, and the design has a definite Grand Seiko look to it. I initially got excited that it would make a perfect base for an old SARB dial I've got kicking around, but it's size probably wouldn't work. Size in mind, a 51+mm wingspan puts it way out of my 6.5-inch wrist category, so I'd sadly need to pass. At first glance I was hoping for something close to the SARB033/035 at 38 x 46 or so mm, but for larger guys like you, this is a keeper. Thanks for the detailed review. Your macro shots are superb!
Steve, this is literally the watch that I have been waiting for. It's obviously an homage to the GS "Evolution 9 Collection" case style, which as I'm sure you know already, encompasses the all mighty "White Birch," (both variants), as well as others, like the "Lake Suwa" for example. If I could only own 1 watch for the rest of my life, and money were no object, it would be the SLGH005, or SLGA009. As I do not have the random odd $9,000, just lying around, to drop on this model, I have been awaiting someone to really take this challenge on of producing a viable, well done, budget alternative. And I use the term challenge deliberately, as the level of detailed finishing to any GS model, much less that of those in the "Evolution 9 Collection," is of an extremely high level of complexity. I must say that I'm stunned at how well they've done, and I really appreciate that it's not a direct homage to any one particular model, like the "White Birch" for example. I personally am not a huge fan of lume, and I do like that they haven't lumed the dial. I suspect that this model comes out of the same factory that produces components for Pagani Design. That clasp seems familiar and the font for the branding is the same of that of Pagani Design. One can only hope that Pagani were to up their quality to this level as well. Great review. Cheers
Very impressed by this offering, I really like almost everything about it. Quite some attention to detail with nice finished indices, a stunning dial, a capped second hand and the space next to the date window not left empty. Rmalti appears to be a newcomer brand but it makes me wonder which other well known brand stands behind it! 🤔
I'm sold on this watch, but I'm waiting to see someone post footage of the wood dial version before I pull the trigger. It doesn't look that nice in the Aliexpress photos, but that dial looked great when a certain large brand did a similar one.
This is slightly odd because I bought the green birch version of this watch and I agree, the build and finishing are absolutely superb for the price they are charging. However when I measured the performance, as you did, I got an accuracy of +2 seconds a day but with a beat error of 2.2ms which is the same as the watch you reviewed. That's not really an acceptable beat error but with 2 seconds a day accuracy is there much point in complaining? I've never had that kind of beat error from an NH35A but as yours was exactly the same are they all going to be like this?
I just pulled the trigger after watching one more time your review. I followed the link to Alix. An everyday watch in gray dial was missing in my collection.
After 10 months the watch is dead. Second hand stopped and after winding it several times and giving it a little shake there was no sign of ever coming to work. Does anyone knows how to apply for Warranty in Aliexpress? I bought it following the link provided here.
Hi I’m really interested in this watch with the new White linen dial or the Grey Linen , my worry is how easy are the hands to read. Do you think the silver hands can be read on the white linen dial, and how easy is the Grey to read. Please keep up the good work. I loved what San Martin are doing but the prices are moving up for UK buyers.
This looks like a much better version than the seestern homage. I made a comment about the thickness and lug width of the seestern and had people getting mad at me. I'm glad rmalti decided to fix the needless flaws rather than copy them.
Great review of a really attractive new offering Steve - thank you. I appreciate the difficulty with branding but a lot of these new Chinese brands just don't work. English is a fairly ubiquitous language these days and many of the grammatical "rules" in the english language also translate fairly consistently into many other languages. I think the RMALTI branding just doesn't look right and there are similar issues with many other Chinese brands. It's almost enough to put me off whereas if they are able to make it AMALTI it would (depending on font choice) look very similar, be of the same concise length (so as not to clutter the dial) and be more visually / phonetically pleasing. Registered names will (of course) restrict choices, but these Chinese brands could do themselves a great service with more (or even some?!) testing of prospective names. That white /silver(?) linen dial with the rose gold bezel / hands / indices looks interesting though!
I've got my eye on the same white/RG dial...looks awesome. I'm trying to help this guy out...shot down a couple really bad ones already. But he's working on it, so that's good. Hopefully with my help, and the help of us on Reddit, we can nail down a good name for him...something the watches deserve. 👍
Is the bracelet similar in quality to the pagani design GS bracelet? Or is it more towards the San Martin style watch, the clasp make it seem like it's just the pagani bracelet, which is okay, but I'd like a better in between from the San Martin bracelet quality.
Great details of finishing, GS vibes all over, especially the dial. At a price where SM was (not anymore...) is a good choice to get. Thanks for bringing this up Steve, be well mate, cheers. PS Interesting to see next models from this brand (or the renamed one to come). PS2 Just received the Sanda Tank homage (because and through you), couldn't be happier mate, this little thing is just awesome, for the money it's a steal indeed. Now though i have to save (a lot...!!!) to get the Solarbeat i dream of...
Sanda kind of tickles the itch and no so much scratches it 😂. I'm hoping to get his new models coming in. DJ and or Black bay 38. We'll see though. Maybe a MM200 as well but not sure. Hopefully one of the other reviewed picks one of those up.
@@EscapeWheel Damn mate, got confused trying to realise if Sanda has a DJ or BB (!), took me a minute to get it right! Will be nice to check them out. Cheers. As for the tickle, it's like the old joke: the masochist is crying, begging, screaming "hit me! beat me! humiliate me!!", and the sadist goes "hmmmm......later" 😂😂😂
Excellent review, thanks. Just ordered the green bamboo dial variant. I'm fine with the name. It looks nice (not in script) and people can get used to it. If it was an Italian watch I'm sure there would be less comments about it. I love lume too and BGW9 would have been awesome. Hope they do a meteorite dial and I'm all in. 😁
Great review, I'm definitely tempted by the dark teal version of it. The sunburst blue is a little too light for my liking if they made it deep blue, then I'd be all for it. The case dial and bracelets are great but the dial colors leave me desiring more. I'd love it if rmalti sent you the other dial options so that we can see them in real!
San martin for sure should be watching their backs...with their ever increasing prices, people are going to start looking elsewhere. when RMALTI puts something like this out, that is 9/10 of what the latest San martin is, but undercuts them by $80, it's going to be hard to recommend them....then again, I did just buy 2 san Martin's so......
This watch looks incredible Steve. However, the clasp looks suspiciously like the pagani design clasp to me. Maybe I’m reading too much into that Rmalti design but regardless a killer watch for the price. Thanks for taking the plunge!
Thank Liam. This clasp I haven't seen from Pagani....maybe the Explorer II? I'd have to go back and look. It actually reminds me a LOT of the new San Martin clasp, just a tad shorter. Very similar
Outstanding review Steve as always. Thank you for sharing. I'm loving this one...just an overall great offering by this company. I have the Seestern GS Homage, and this one seems just as nice if not nicer when it comes to the dial, markers and hands. What do you think? Thank you again for doing such a great job with your reviews 👏 👍
@@EscapeWheel Thank you Steve, I'm really tempted to puck up the exact same dial choice you reviewed. My Seestern GS Homage has a light blue dial, thus this color will be quiet different and looks terrific 👌
Maybe they should go with an abbreviation for the name, like just RMT with a nice font applied on the dial, following the design cues of Grand Seiko. Just not the same font, of course.
As someone who defended the Phylida brand name to hell and back, RMALTI is the first micro brand that makes me flinch from how just plain stupid it sounds...

What a beautiful watch! This brand is one to look out for in the future. Not mad about the name, but could be worse. Definitely agree that the 22mm lug width looks too big. A 38/39mm version with 20mm lug width would be perfection. 40mm is just a little too big for this style of watch.
yes they are thinking of using the crown logo, with "RMALTI" text under it. looked pretty good. someone did an unboxing of the teal linen dial...looks awesome!

Must admit that is an attractive piece but also nicely finished ( i even like the crown logo) . As much as the nh is a crowd pleaser a pt 5000 would've been ideal for this watch (and perhaps even a pop of colour on the second hand but that's just personal ) but overall quite impressive for a "new" brand .
I bought this watch with the NH 34. After 6 weeks I had massive problems with the movement. I asked the seller, but they only told me that I do not get a new movement. Never again! For this price there are better brands that have a customer service
Well, that's just disappointing. An unfortunate truth of most Chinese OEM's. It's a gamble for sure. Most of the time it works out just fine but if you have issues, it's like pulling teeth to get it resolved.
Love the look of the watch, as I said in the unboxing vid, but the name still bothers me. I think I would have felt better about it if they would have simply added an i to the name and called themselves Rimalti. At least that sounds a little Italian! lol
Really stunning. But I’m forever conflicted about these mushroom brands. At the end of the day I’d rather get a less refined Seiko/Citizen etc, unless you’re dead-set on this specific design.
beautiful Watch, Amazing Dial, extremely embarassing brand name.. anyway I wouldn't use an exhibition caseback for such a basic movement. Considering of buying It, thanks for the review
@@elchino4790 also, announcing in a video or post brings fraud from what I've heard...people contacting me pretending to be said winner. Not something I want to deal with.
Very faithful to the... You know, the big "S" (some might call it "Grand"). It's even got more micro adjusts than that other watch.^^ If only they threw in another "I" and made it "Rimalti"...
@@EscapeWheel The other option is that they design a logo for the dual, maybe a stylized "R" and then only have that on the face of the watch, with the full name on the case back...
Are you to blame for me placing the order? Probably! I love your shots and intro videography. Grand Seiko is my grail but cannot afford it. This, imo, is the closest I can get to the real deal.
@@EscapeWheel It's crazy the value we get for the price. I choose to not buy any mainstream brand that cost less than 1k. I get this RMALTI or San Martins for WAY for less than 300 and end up with better watch than many 1k watches out there. I own 2 San Martins and they are stellar quality. its nuts.
I read these names and always think someone in the Government ran out of words for registered company names so they decided to create their own via a dart board with letters posted all of it, and hit the board with darts while blindfolded.
I really like this one! Except for the brand name. It's like they tried to come up with a Western sounding name, but they missed a vowel somewhere. Maybe should have been Remalti... Armalti? I mean, it can't be THAT hard to find a Western person to help you out if you're trying to sound Western. Considering the lengths they went to in order to produce what seems to be a nice, quality watch, that extra step in branding is a real missed opportunity.
Nice review ! As for the name: People know how to pronounce R8 like R eight, so why not the same pronunciation? R as in the letter R and then "malti ", it's not that difficult to me. If it was a supercar called R malti, nobody would comment on the name... and for aesthetic reasons, Rmalti looks better than R Malti in two parts.
They forgot a vowel: Why not Ramalti, Remalti, Rimalti, Romalti, Rumalti or even Rymalti? But "RM" at the start without any vowels is horrbile, how do they even come up with this nonsense, with a random generator?
Chinese to English translation is hard. Been chTting with the guy for a couple days now. Some of those names are already registered, so no go on that. Branding is hard.
Do yourself a favour and buy something else. At first these watches seem very well made, but they aren't. The brand lies about materials and quality control doesn't exist. I wish I'd spent my money on something legit like San Martin or Steeldive.
Rmalti? Which Norse god has someone at Guanqing University managed to dig up this time? Too silly for words. You go and manage to produce a stunner like this and then neglect the all important branding?? SHenzen International Timepieces abbreviates nicely....
If it's one thing I've learned about branding, it's that you'll NEVER make anyone happy, balance that with all the names that have already been registered and you've not got a lot to work with. Hope they can nail it down, though

As much as the nh is a crowd pleaser a pt 5000 would've been ideal for this watch (and perhaps even a pop of colour on the second hand but that's just personal ) but overall quite impressive for a "new" brand .
Very clean watch. I am curious to see the other colorways they offer.
Please tell Rmalti to make it availabla at LAZADa philippines❤ tnx
Looks great!
Nice review. Watched the other video on this one too you did. Still not convinced of the name like others are saying. Good review though.
nice bracelet, I really like this GS style
They should get rid of the name on the dial and go with logo on the crown. Or, since the dial is so nice maybe go with Seiko instead. 😁
Strong Grand Seiko vibes. I like it! 🔥🔥🔥
Yes indeed.
It's a shame you don't have an affiliate link, regarding the name it doesn't bother me. Thanks for the review 👍🏼
they are working on it....not sure how all that works on their end of things.
Great video!!
thank you!
Love the look of the watch, as I said in the unboxing vid, but the name still bothers me. I think I would have felt better about it if they would have simply added an i to the name and called themselves Rimalti. At least that sounds a little Italian! lol
Lol, yup, takes some getting used to for sure.
Wow! Absolutely stunning watch! Love it! (But why this name? 😭)
ps: there are no subtitles.
Really stunning.
But I’m forever conflicted about these mushroom brands. At the end of the day I’d rather get a less refined Seiko/Citizen etc, unless you’re dead-set on this specific design.
Great video. I still prefere the Chameri though...thank you!
That's a great little dress watch
Great watch and great review
Thank you, and thank you for watching!
they should make a 38mm watch with 20mm lug width with female end-links and AR coated sapphire
I'd buy it in a heartbeat
beautiful Watch, Amazing Dial, extremely embarassing brand name.. anyway I wouldn't use an exhibition caseback for such a basic movement. Considering of buying It, thanks for the review
Nice looking watch but such a weird name. BTW, when is the 5k sub giveaway revealed??
Winners have already been picked. Shot a video for it, but accidentally deleted it 🤦
Watches went out last week
@@EscapeWheel we're the winners announced?
@@elchino4790 not publicly. I contacted them directly. 3 out of the 6 have shipped. Giving the others another day. Then I'll redraw for their spaces.
@@elchino4790 also, announcing in a video or post brings fraud from what I've heard...people contacting me pretending to be said winner. Not something I want to deal with.
Very faithful to the... You know, the big "S" (some might call it "Grand"). It's even got more micro adjusts than that other watch.^^
If only they threw in another "I" and made it "Rimalti"...
RIMALTI unfortunately has been registered Already...RIMALTY is available and sounds pretty good still.
I take no responsibility! all ya'll trying to blame me....lol
Shit. Need to get one. Looking for the Black or the Green.
All the dials look so good, it's hard to choose which one to buy
@@EscapeWheel It's crazy the value we get for the price. I choose to not buy any mainstream brand that cost less than 1k. I get this RMALTI or San Martins for WAY for less than 300 and end up with better watch than many 1k watches out there. I own 2 San Martins and they are stellar quality. its nuts.
I've bought this and can't wait for it to arrive. Looks a great dress watch
Awesome, you are going to love it.
I like the watch and I don't mind the name but think they can do better.
I read these names and always think someone in the Government ran out of words for registered company names so they decided to create their own via a dart board with letters posted all of it, and hit the board with darts while blindfolded.
pretty much. I went through about 10 different options, all similar to RMALTI but less weird sounding and most were already taken
245eu for a NH35 with invisible hands, a boring dial and a protrunding glass is not so good idea.
Ordered the one with the turquoise dial in the sale and it is probably the AliExpress watch I have been the most excited about in quite a while...
Someone just unboxed that one! Go check it out. Looks sick!
@@EscapeWheel Yes, I saw that. Even more excited now...;o)
The brand name is fine as is to me.
I agree - its a good looking size on the dial for me
Bravo for getting it to a pretty thin 11.8mm even though it has the nh35, It can be done. Lol
With the 6r15 being a complete mess, this is a SARB killer for me.
Funny, I was just looking at SARB prices....insane...lol.
I just wish this had 20mm lug width and I would have kept it.
Nice watch, 36 or 38 mm might have beeb better, weird brand name though...
White birch dial and I'll get it.
I think I heard that one is coming.
REMALTI and RAMALTI, Amalti are all taken. RIMALTI is available...or was a few weeks ago
Nice review !
As for the name:
People know how to pronounce R8 like R eight, so why not the same pronunciation? R as in the letter R and then "malti ", it's not that difficult to me. If it was a supercar called R malti, nobody would comment on the name... and for aesthetic reasons, Rmalti looks better than R Malti in two parts.
Yeah, I've got no big issue with the name 🤷. Doesn't bother me in the least.
Hey Steve, Your videos are loading really slowly. All other videos are loading quickly. Cannot watch your last 3 uploads. It just doesn't play.
Hmmm....all seems fine on my end 🤷
Dayum, she sure is purdy.
She sure is!
someone needs to teach them how to name a brand
They forgot a vowel: Why not Ramalti, Remalti, Rimalti, Romalti, Rumalti or even Rymalti? But "RM" at the start without any vowels is horrbile, how do they even come up with this nonsense, with a random generator?
Chinese to English translation is hard. Been chTting with the guy for a couple days now. Some of those names are already registered, so no go on that.
Branding is hard.
Gud one
thank you for watching.
The weird name on that dial is the only thing that is putting me off this buy, i have to admit... otherwise, it seems so good!
A sticking point for a lot of people, it seems. You are not alone
Very Good Watch ! Very Good review ! But the Name....R real M men A are L lovers T....I......and so on.
RMALTI? I don´t like scrabble brand names.
they apparently offer custom dials, now
RMALTI 😅😅😅😅🤣🤣🤣🤣 I can't even

thanks for the Sub! welcome to the channel!
unfortunately the price has doubled. This is no longer a good value.
Change the damn name of your brand ffs, RMALTI
@@EscapeWheel No, of course you cannot please everyone, but there is a sizeable gap between that and between pleasing no one.
