Turbo at #6 and Ram it Down at #4? Those albums blow. They should be down at the bottom with Nostradamus. 1. Painkiller 2. Screaming for Vengeance 3. Defenders of the Faith 4. British Steel 5. Invincible Shield 6. Stained Class 7. Firepower 8. Killing Machine 9. Sad Wings of Destiny 10. Angel of Retribution 11. Redeemer of Souls 12. Sin After Sin 13. Jugulator 14. Demolition 15. Ram it Down 16. Point of Entry 17. Rocka Rolla 18. Turbo 19. Nostradamus
Thanks for your ranking!! "Ram It Down" is the first Judas Priest album I heard and I have a huge affection for it. I think it has some very good songs. There is a theory that says that the first album you hear from a band is the one you like the most. It's not the one I like the most, but it's always been in my top 5. "Turbo" is very commercial and Hard Rock, very deliberately aimed at the US public, but it's a very good album if you listen to it with impartial ears. But I see that we have quite similar tastes. Our podium is very similar, only the positions change 🍻
You're right about Ram It Down. It a POS! But Point of Entry is great. It's become my most go to JP. It just had the misfortune of being released between 2 monumental albums. The song You Say Yes is 💩 though. One of their worst.
@@Gregbaltzer I will always love "Ram It Down" and I can't change that 😅 "Hard as Iron", "Ram It Down" and "Blood Red Skies" are amazing songs that made me love that album. And "Point of Entry" is an album that I like more and more. It has little gems.
Very good ranking! Here's mine (with averages for each albums): 01. British Steel (10/10) 02. Painkiller (10/10) 03. Screaming For Vengeance (9,5/10) 04. Defenders Of The Faith (9,5/10) 05. Killing Machine / Hell Bent For Leather (9,5/10) 06. Firepower (9,3/10) 07. Invincible Shield (9,1/10) 08. Sin After Sin (8,8/10) 09. Turbo (7,8/10) 10. Stained Class (7,8/10) 11. Point Of Entry (7/10) 12. Ram It Down (7/10) 13. Redeemer Of Souls (6,9/10) 14. Sad Wings Of Destiny (6,7/10) 15. Angel Of Retribution (6/10) 16. Rock Rolla (5,7/10) 17. Jugulator (5/10) 18. Demolition (4,6/10) 19. Nostradamus (3,5/10)
"Painkiller" is a tremendous masterpiece. It has the same value as "Defenders of the Faith", but this album is older, so I usually put the older album first in case of a tie. Thanks for your comment 🍻
It's a great album. I bought the CD 2 weeks ago and it's a very worthy work for a legend like Judas Priest. I hope it is not JP's last work, but with "Invincible Shield" they have won Valhalla 🤘
I love "Ram It Down", it's the first Judas Priest album I heard and that leaves a mark. It has great songs, although the drums are a terrible drum machine... "Demolition" is worse than a crucifixion and "Jugulator" is interesting, but far from "Ram It Down". It's just my personal opinion. Thanks for your comment!! 🤘
"British Steel" is a great album, but it has a lot of competition from "Painkiller", "Defenders of the Faith", "Screaming for Vengeance"... It's just a matter of preference. Thanks for your opinion 🍻
"Turbo" is more Hard Rock than the albums you mentioned, but it's a very good album and very underrated. "Turbo" has the same rating as "Invincible Shield", just 1 point above "Stained Class" and 2 points above "Firepower". It's just personal preferences, nothing more 🍻
Im warming up to Redeemer. Point of Entry is a favourire of mine. I listen to it a lot now because i didnt own it as a kid so it never got over played. Ram it Down is 💩 . It has 2 good songs and thats it. Turbo is better but is still too glam for my taste. Rocka Rolla is a nice album to put on and just mellow out to.
The bad thing about "Redeemer of Souls" is the production, it never convinced me, but it's an interesting album. "Ram It Down" is God and you are a heretic!! To the lions!! Sorry for the joke 😂🤣🙃 Thanks for your comments 🤘
I disagree about Nostradamus is not a good album. Songs are strong and melodic...and was the last album that Halford's voice was in good form. Painkiller and Defenders of the Faith top!!
"Painkiller" and "Defenders of the Faith" are the ones who rule! I respect your opinion, it's all a matter of personal taste. Thanks for your comment 🤘

@@JuanmaEternal I don`t understand the hate towards Ram it Down. Ok, the programmed drumming is weird but the musicianship by the rest of the band is over the top. Rob's vocals are unbeatable, the guitars are insane and the songs are pretty damn good. Ram it down, Blood Red Skies, Hard as Iron and I´m a rocker are among the best JP songs in their catalogue.
