Amazing. I about killed myself sandblasting a 62 thunderbird undercarriage. Took at least six days with various parts of the car lifted on jack stands. Can't imagine how this removes the sprayed on undercoating yet leaves the original red primer.
Thanks! Yes, that's what makes dry ice cleaning so effective. It's very difficult to remove good paint with this process. The combination of -119f ice temperature and expansion of it on impact contracts the undercoating enough to loosen the adhesion and blast it off!
Nice result! Did you ever dry-iced a Mercedes W124 or a W126 with that PVC-Undercoating? That stuff is really nasty to get of by wire brush wheel or a scraper, takes forever. Is Dry-Ice capable of removing that? Marlon
Thanks! Yes, I've done a number of old Mercedes Benz's and it removes the factory undercoating. I'm working on a 1962 Mercedes 190SL this week. Should have the video posted soon. Thanks!
This is awesome, this was my car. 1967 Lincoln Continental Convertible, AKA #LaToxica. If you have any more videos please share.
DryIce Autos is great to work with and delivers awesome results. Thank you. #RRLincolnConti , #LaToxica

wow, i had idea how well dry ice worked
Yes, it’s exceptionally effective without damaging the car. Thanks!
So rewarding.. I'd pay you to let me work there - lol.
Thanks! It’s definitely rewarding
Great result, but make the job easier and get the exhaust out since it's already cut
how many kg dry ice was used to clean?
This job took over 500lbs of ice I would guess around 270kg
Thanks!
I did this for 7 years
Where are you live my dear?
Math error. Caption says removing 62 year old undercoating. That would either make this 61 year old car or it time traveled to the year 2024.
Yes, the year of the car corrected to 1967 after the video was posted.
Thanks
with 100 cfm it can be done without problem
What size is that machine?
It’s a Coldjet PCS60
Thanks!
كم يصل سعرها
This was a fairly extensive job, it was around $2500 for complete cleaning, an average job is $1500 Thanks
