These are tough, awkward and sometimes confrontational questions, but you are asking to ensure that the client is safe and ultimately that's all that matters.
This is just question after question.. there is no personal connection. It’s a fact that although intervention techniques are important, personal connection is more important. I think it’s something like 30% intervention techniques vs 70% developing a relationship with the client.
When the doctor said, "Any suicidal thoughts?" Me: Well they weren't serious. No. Looking back that wasn't the smart thing to do.

This is so cringe. The interviewer is doing nothing for the patient btw. I just want people who are treating suicidal patients to realize this.
What should the interviewer do? It's an introduction to SRA. An assessment doesn't apply any interventions.
