    That Eminence Serum is great! but as someone who used to work for that company, my hot tip is to purchase their products through spas only, and to avoid third party sellers on marketplaces like Amazon. It's an organic product, and the people selling them on Amazon aren't represented by the company - so usually you're getting super old products. I have seen products on there that have been discontinued for YEARS! Not worth it when it comes to your skin in my opinion, you're not getting the full bang for your buck. :)
    But she has BEAUTIFUL skin, and this is a fun routine!!

    You can absolutely use retinol and retinoids around your eyes, just like an eye cream, as long as it doesn’t irritate your skin. And the trick to avoid irritation is to start with a low dose (or percentage), use it once or twice a week and then very slowly titrate up. I’ve been using tretinoin for about 17 yrs and I can use it twice a day, at the highest strength available here and combine it with other actives with absolutely no irritation. But I started out very slowly with all of the actives I use and over yrs increased the amount and usage.

    As far as I know, you should be applying vitamin C once or twice a week......

    • @zoeybvh3289
      @zoeybvh3289 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      No vitamin c can definitely be used daily but should only be used once daily. It stays in the skin 24 plus hours like she said so using it twice daily is just wasting it. It should also be used in the morning ideally since it helps prevent free radicals and can actually help your sunscreen be more effective. So using it once a day in the morning is the most universally “correct” so to speak way to do it.

    • @carollorac7907

  • @dianeargentino1320
    @dianeargentino1320 6 ปีที่แล้ว +74

    You are using your cleansing oil incorrectly, before you wipe it off with a washcloth you need to apply water to it and suds it up and scrub it in, then you can use a washcloth to remove it. Also, hyaluronic acid is to maintain moisture levels in your skin, not anything to do with prevention of breakouts. Putting spot treatments on after your moisturizer is useless it cant penetrate your skin, you need to put that stuff before you apply your cream. Instead of doing videos you need to start watching some and learn the correct order applying your skin care.

      Becky Armady Too many products. She’s probably using a few with comedogenic ingredients.

      krisisnkaos well taken. Thanks for your reply. I’m tying to simplify my regimen because most of it’s sweat off from the summer heat anyway. There is no cleanser that I enjoy enough to repurchase. I bounce around. But I keep my serum and moisturizer the same despite the fact that they just maintain the status quo. I’ll use them all up before seeking the next “miracle in a bottle.”

      Becky Armady Try Bioderma’s cleansing gel! I’ve been using it for years and it’s amazing. It takes off my makeup so easily, so I don’t need any extra cleansers, and yet it’s very gentle - it doesn’t cause any burning sensation. 😊 p.s. if you are acne prone, I’d suggest the Bioderma’s Sebium line.
