AS a super minimalist EDC guy, living in FL, with limited garment, I rarely carry a spare mag. But for my job, I often do because of the areas I perform my detail, or when going on a longer trip, through unknown areas... I hated the fact to carry a mag holder, for known reasons... I was very skeptical about NeoMag... but... one day, I broke down and bought the Double Magnet one for Glock. I carry a G23, with 165 or 180's so the weight of my spare mag is much higher, and clearly a concern whether those magnets would hold it... I was proven wrong and was extremely surprised with its performance and the strength of those magnets keeping my spare in place, oriented the way we like to.. consistent, bullet tips forward, indexing with Left pointer when grabbing the mag... So, I can share with confidence, that you will absolutely trust, use and enjoy the double magnet one... And when shopping on eBay, I even found them below MSRP and with free ship... Thanks for putting out great content... keep ip the good work...

Hey buddy, just getting caught up on your videos. Neomag's Glock model/double magnet will absolutely change your mind about their product. The single magnet works well for all of the bare metal mags out there, but you'd love the G model (or whatever it's called). I'll agree that the Grayfighter is excellent as well.

For the neo mag, they have a second magnetbfor glocks since glock has polymer on their mag

So, it seems wild to me (new to edc) that there aren't more horizontally oriented mag carriers to go on the belt. It feels intuitive to me, I've even practiced drawing the mag that way with a belt loop to just try it out. I've scoured TH-cam for mag carrier reviews, and searched for hours to find products I would want. Aliengear's option looks way bulky, MagHolder seems strangely obscure such that I'm wary of buying, and elastic fabric options seem obviously short on lifespan. I might try a NeoMag, but I don't trust the clip will keep it on the pocket rim. Vertically oriented belt carriers seem far too uncomfortable and hard to conceal. I've seen exactly *one* video so much as mention horizontal orientation in a negative way and he failed to elaborate on why, just that he tried it and disliked it. Why is horizontal orientation from a belt mag carrier not popular and even disliked? Is there some good reason I haven't thought of? Is it just nobody's made a quality product with open-top, good retention, and slim profile for concealment? I'm just kind of baffled about this.

I believe they aren’t as ergonomic on the draw as a vertical oriented option. Majority of competition shooters and tacticians use vertical mag pouches for a reason, it’s fast. The same holds true for EDC, you just have to add the consideration of concealment
