I think with the number of cases being so high in Southern CA, they should have waited. The other thing I noticed is the hand washing stations are hand touch operated. Why they chose not to use foot pedal stations is troubling. The hand sanitizers and washing stations need to be touch free...
I agree, my paranoid self cringed at how many people would have to touch the faucet handles to turn the water on. I know you're washing them afterwards but that's not completely risk free for me. A foot pedal would be perfect! Hope they consider that.

It just doesn't feel safe. But it was awesome to know that Disney is taking serious precautions, making sure you're social distancing, wearing your mask, sanitizing, and washing your hands. They definitely reopened way too soon. Wish everything waited to reopen once they seen the number of cases down. I think as long as everyone heeds to the safety precautions and are respectful of the guidelines (social distance, wear a mask/face covering, wash/sanitize your hands, etc.) it should be okay with limited capacity. I agree with you in that if guests do not feel ready to visit then they should wait until they feel more comfortable. Disneyland in Hong Kong opened too soon and saw a spike in cases almost after the first day. There is no safety precautions other than not going out in mass amounts of crowds of people. Vegas saw a spike from opening. So do a little more research next time you say how you’re feeling.

I think the staff should be the ones to decide if the parks should open or not. None of the staff members should be forced to work under the current conditions and those under the near future until its safer to do so, however if staff members are willing and wanting to go back to work then thats what should happen. Disney Co. has the means to ask their cast members, if the majority wish to return to work then open the parks. Let the cast members decide.

As for the Disney parks reopening, as long as people adhere to the rules things should be fine, but I am a bit unnerved by the parks reopening but the corporate offices not being reopened,.

I went on Friday for my daughters 12th birthday. I agree with you that Disney did a great job with the social distancing, following guidelines & sanitation stations. I felt more safe there than at Target & Walmart. The cast members were so nice and welcoming. The music in the background and smell of churros in the air made me feel calm and relaxed. Took pictures at the closest spot we can get to in front of the Disneyland gate & in front of DCA. We felt at home again like a missing piece of me flew back into my body. My soul was happy and at peace. Went to WOD I never seen the place so empty. Honestly if you are not ready to come then don’t come. But don’t hate on the people that are ready. It is our happy place that makes our soul happy just like the gym might be yours. BTW I loved your video. We also went to Starbucks. I got the pink drink and my daughters got the dragon drink and strawberry lemonade. We sat under a tree in the shade to enjoy it and people watch. We also got some Earls. The BLT is my fave. I always wanted to try that salad and now I will. It looks bomb. Hope to run into you guys at the park or DTD 🖤

I went on Friday for my daughters 12th birthday. I agree with you that Disney did a great job with the social distancing, following guidelines & sanitation stations. I felt more safe there than at Target & Walmart. The cast members were so nice and welcoming. The music in the background and smell of churros in the air made me feel calm and relaxed. Took pictures at the closest spot we can get to in front of the Disneyland gate & in front of DCA. We felt at home again like a missing piece of me flew back into my body. My soul was happy and at peace. Went to WOD I never seen the place so empty.
Honestly if you are not ready to come then don’t come. But don’t hate on the people that are ready. It is our happy place that makes our soul happy just like the gym might be yours.
BTW I loved your video. We also went to Starbucks. I got the pink drink and my daughters got the dragon drink and strawberry lemonade. We sat under a tree in the shade to enjoy it and people watch. We also got some Earls. The BLT is my fave. I always wanted to try that salad and now I will. It looks bomb. Hope to run into you guys at the park or DTD 🖤

Yay! So glad I got to meet you guys and I do believe it was a good time to open, if malls and other stores can be open, there’s no reason why DTD should stay closed. And I felt very safe there and everyone did a great job keeping their masks on and keeping their distance.
we must get moving,going forward,eat healthy,bring the country and the world back together,i think it is a good idea to reopen disneyland,a place we love so much,so all people can enjoy and be healthy together.
Go if you want. Follow the guidelines, and you'll be fine. And of course it doesn't look like a fun time, places aren't opening yet and also the menu will be modified on places.
No guarantee of that and Florida has some of the worst health care in the nation .

Opening downtown Disney first gives Disney a better idea of how to better control and manage large crowds when the time comes to open the big parks.
