No plan. Very small team. All last minute. But I'm so buzzing with how this turned out!
To make a documentary on a very relevant topic right now, looking at the rise of Islamophobia in the country, and ultimately answering the question - is Islam a threat to Britain's future?
It would've been very easy to speak to the same type of people for this. People who had the same views as me and pretend like everyone on the "other side" were simply ignorant and bigoted but I wanted to speak to "real" people for this.
Not people who've been media trained but people who were hairdressers, students, boss man at the chicken shop, the guy outside the pub, etc.
These people represent a significant population within the country and I'm glad I got to talk to people from different backgrounds and different views from my own.
I was especially grateful to Colin who was part of the protests/riots in Liverpool a week before this was filmed but was willing to speak on camera and share his "controversial" views.

I always wanted to present a documentary and actually can't believe I managed to do it only a few weeks after I finished uni...but now we go BIGGER and BETTER 👀
