- The Mandarin Oriental Hotel has reopened on 8th Sept 2023 after an extensive six month renovation. The old Melt Cafe restaurant has now been replaced with Embu and it’s better than before. Embu has an extensive buffet spread of international cuisines and is highly recommended.
You did a fantastic job showing all the food and the name tags as well ! I have seen numerous buffet videos and you are the only one who showcased every single dish . Really appreciate the extra efforts you made .

When you are in a city where almost every 4-5 star hotel offers some kind of buffet, it is highly challenging to pick the best. It also depends on the definition of "The Best." Would it best in variety? Quality? Value-for -money? Or ambience? For similar international selection, my personal pick would be Colony. For quality Italian, definitely Basilico. @@productsandreviews9707
Well in my opinion the three top international buffets in SG in terms of variety, quality and ambience are: Colony@Ritz Carlton, Embu@Mandarin Oriental and Estate@Hilton.
@@productsandreviews9707 Embu? are u serious?. I think edge was better. Melt was my fav until it got replaced with embu..very disappointed.
@@Deadpool12353 did you go to Embu recently ? Why didn’t you like it ? I would say their quality has been steadily declining since this video was shot in Oct 2023.

Not sure if it's worth that price point considering most of the food items are in the bare minimum. Maybe you came late but considering again that it's not so busy. Not quite sure if those are all a good sign.
It’s definitely worth it. I took some shots towards the end when most of the people had left but it was crowded to begin with.
