Sir, while simualating the same, i found the following error
Error in port width of dimensions, invalid dimension has been specified for input port

Sir, in your video, the current waveform has a magnitude of 420A whereas the voltage is 340v. How can grid current be so high? kindly clarify

2) Why you haven't used a coupling transformer with statcom?

16:36 there is a mistake, you should remove the IDL from there and only leave ID. as explained in the begining of your video.

Excellent. Your job is very good for STATCOM. One question, if you put a three phase fault on it can it control the reference voltage again? If it works for transient voltage recovery or you can modify it I will pay for this. Let me know if you are happy to make some profit.

Choose a time constant for voltage and current controller. 1 ms for voltage controller and 200 microsecond for current controller would be fine
To find kp for voltage controller, divide dc capacitor with time constant
To find kp for current controller divide filter inductor with curreaponding time constant
Ki values for for both controller initially kept at zero, then start increasing gradually untill staedy state erroro becomes zero

Can we make this as Pv statcom yo control reactive power in night or when there is disturbance it fed that power for few seconds to compensate fault.
this is only used for reactive power compensation, and that can be done in the night also.

Thank you, sir, for explaining the STATCOM. but when I trying to simulate my simple STATCOM with a series reactor module in Matlab it does working properly. This means every time I get a different reference signal.
I am also getting confused in the controller (means you use that divide Vdc block).

In the last loop of current control before converting to dq axis why are u multiplying by 2/Vdc as we get Vd, Vq directly from them?

sir I followed all the steps and modeled but VDC is fluctuating, unable to regulate to 800V , the statcom is also not compensating properly. can u please fix this error?

Current is decided based on the power requireemnt. NOt based on the voltage
