Hm, I ended up getting the beaver for wisdom. I must admit, I was not expecting that at all considering it's one of the least mentioned when it comes to spirit animals.

How did indigenous people find their spirit animal before internet quizzes? Was it something the elders told them or did they find it out for themselves? Was it based on feeling a connection with an animal in a random situation or was it a process reached through fasting and prayer? What does it mean to know what your spirit animal is? Is it about finding identity in shared characteristics or is it something deeper, like a connection with not just a species but an individual animal with whom you have a connection? I got the raven in the quiz but unfortunately the page with further information was giving a 404 error. I naturally feel a connection with deer. When I´m living in the city, I tend to feel a connection with pigeons. :) I don´t know what these feelings mean or if they mean anything at all.

They're explained in one of our previous videos - th-cam.com/video/v7iElaRTYNY/w-d-xo.html It is said that we are not limited to one spirit animal in a lifetime; we can have multiple spirit animals come in and out of our lives, each providing us with unique knowledge and gifts when we need them most. As for the 404, it should be okay now. Our website was closed yesterday for our Black Friday sale. Hope this helps!
What would be some good suggestions for working with. And building a relationship with our Spirit animals? That I could suggest and maybe gain interest for my daughters? I try and explain, but they just don't get it. Thank you.
I would definitely recommend going outside and putting some tobacco down and asking spirit to help you connect to your helpers. You can ask for guidance and signs etc and you can even ask for help with your daughters to become interested in learning when the time is right also :)

And it makes sense how I have seen buffalos even over here on pictures, billboards etc - they were coming to remind me of my core value : respect. Miigwech! For everything you do.

I have had a lot of aid and comfort in our spirituality and certainly don't want to take away from this video so I apologize! I had a question though that I don't know the answer to quite yet, and I'm really not sure who to ask. I had this revelation about a year and a half ago where I said I was a Psychic Adventurer that lays down my life for someone else. After I spoke that my entire body lit up and I felt a feeling I probably will never experience again. It was like very intense ecstasy I want to say. It leveled me. I'm really not sure what that means and I don't want to come across a certain way. I am curious to know though if this has any significance to Native American culture or if this could be interpreted a certain way? If you had any thoughts I would greatly appreciate it! A Psychic adventurer is usually a fearless explorer of the unconscious, an uncompromising guide to realms beyond our conventional mind, a bringer of traditional native knowledge to the western world of today. Psychic adventurers are often linked to tribal shaman, although I was not able to find any specifics with respect to Blackfoot or Cherokee practices or rituals. It sounds almost like what some people today would refer to as an 'out of body experience' in between the sleep-dream and wake transition; however, I don't think that is what you experienced. You most likely have the gift of either being able to communicate with those who have passed on, or you have the rare ability to cross over to the other side to visit or "adventure" and still return back safely to our world. But be careful with the latter, as not everything nor everyone are what they seem on the other side - loved ones may communicate and show themselves, BUT always trust your gut feelings and instincts since tricksters can also appear in familiar forms. If you have any contact with Blackfoot or Cherokee elders, I would suggest perhaps enquiring about your questions further. Good luck! 😊❤️

My spirit animal is a turtle (Truth based on the 7 Grandfather Teachings) which is funny because I always said I had deep connections to turtles and never really understood why. Now I know!

Question. I did the quiz, found out what my animal was but then realized that the first question, letter D was more like me. They were both very close but when I really thought about it, I do try to watch what I say b/c I am SO afraid to come across ill or whatever...but when it comes to my spouse, that's not the case! lol...which is why I chose the letter A b/c it's pretty much the same. I'm ALWAYS trying to figure out people's emotions (to a fault) and try to assess what is going on with them and if they are happy with me in my company, etc. However, I don't do it just randomly like with strangers that I'm NOT talking to (like in a store, park, etc.) so did I answer it incorrectly the first time? Not sure....however, I really resonated with the raven and it seems like I've had more "interactions" with a raven than a beaver! But...not sure what a raven really is as maybe I'm confusing it with another bird?? lol I do NOT do well with tests b/c I can be wishy-washy...but don't want to be and I try to be as HONEST as I can...but sometimes some things for me is not always black/wht.
