I have followed you for years. This last month Line has been as enjoyable as the canoe muskrat trapping in the waterways after the flooding. Back when alot of your traps were longsprings. This trail trapping along the water has really been good. You should think about developing a good flat set lure. Look forward to the ranch trapping. Thanks.and
That log dirt hole combo set(I do same with a big rock) needs the trap rotated 90° so the dog is closest to the dirt hole. Yes that will work ,but you can hook up more & better with the dog to the dirt hole side . It prevents loose jaw tip up as they dig & you dont want those spring levers popping up under a off centerd paw warning the cat or dog & yes even helping throw its paw up out of the way of the closing trap jaws. The spring levers can give just enough assistance to speed up paw removal so it clears the closing jaws. Especially on nervous & educated animals.

Awesome is right ! That chocolate (black yote) snow dog was an Eastern brush wolf! EASTERN sure damn well looked like a N.Y. dog in the black or chocolate variety.
