I think the marquee characters remaining will be Morgan Elsbeth and Huyang. I truly believe the next conquest unit will be Baylan Skoll. He would be similar to Taron Malicos in power yet different. Shin Hati may come later. Thrawn may get reworked. I won’t whale on this. R9 teen Tano is already bad.
When Leia was announced, there were at least 4 non-accelerated characters: Captain Rex, Kneesa, Scout trooper & Captain Drogan. The most recently released characters don't tie in obviously to Ahsoka to me. (wut? Gungans?? nope. Padme, Poncho Qui-Gon? Nope. Luthen Rael? I'm not aware of interaction between those either..). --> Besides the newly announced trooper, I'd expect some more announcements. If they trickle those in, the launch could be a few months out. And new raid just started. I'm not convinced using Ahsoka in new raid is so out of the question, especially if this becomes again a dual GL (Thrawn? or the DS force user there, with Shin Haiti?), with Ahsoka having 'plenty of' time to speed-farm before future raid, and "Thrawn" being launched at the same time. Overall: Not happy about this. There's already 3 Ahsoka's, with 'Fulcrum' being clearly post clone wars era at least. I'd much, much rather have seen a Thrawn, or finally, a separatist GL. There are 4 GL's from the 'sequel' era. 2 from the prequel, and neither represents the separatist, both hail from the Republic, and from the Jedi order. And only 2 GL's from the main OG trilogy. And neither was a strong personnal combatant; Leia vs Chewie? I'd bet on & let the Wookie win. Jabba? a crime lord relying on henchmen. This Ahsoka release means probably we'll have to endure garbage 'Acolyte' trash in the future. And again, it delays indefinitely a separatist GL.
Thanks for the detailed response! I would love to see a separatist GL. I think we'd probably get a legendary for Acolyte, or a conquest character. I hope they don't pull from that show to make a GL character.

Also forgot: Thrawn at least would be a non-force user GL, alongside Jabba & Leia, and enable using more 'regular' imp troopers than LV (whom is force-user focussed, hence Maul?? etc). Rey, SLKR, SEE, JML, JMK, LV: 6/8 are force users. My preference was for the super-tactical-droid for next GL, tied in with tri-droid fighter, the ep1 trade federation cap ship, droid commando's, a sniper droid, ...a first droid GL but nooooo. Ahsoka. Either she upstages Rey as UFU, or JML. Possibly both. Lame.
Ya you bring up LV. I am like not motivated to get him. Im willing to get a good gas team. Im willing to get a good bad batch team (for maurauder). But even if/when i do i probably wont go LV right after doing it.
ahsoka series hasn't concluded so it feels way to early for her GL form to come to the game because we don't know what new abilities she's going to unlock in the future.
@@CaptainAmazing_swgoh honestly I'm still holding out hope for GL revan with a journey event of meetra suurik to lead into gl revan. I still want calo nord from kotor 1 for bhs to get a new toy and darth bandon malaks apprentice for sith empire and then start bringing In characters from kotor 2.

I personally think the two unnamed marquees will be her teammates. I don’t think it will be Morgan Elsbeth because of that.
I always wait until things hit the accelerated farm. I still manage to stay in Kyber 1 or 2 while still a year behind.

Once you have GAS, and Bad Batch. That’s a good starting point to just finish him off. He’s not a bad GL!
