The troupe looked sparse compared to old shows.😮 I'm used to seeing a cast of close to 50 people;that's dancers, singers and orchestra. When the tap dancers came out, my question was, where were the Irish dancers that they had a duel with ? In the Radio City Music Hall DVD, during the finale, dancers Pat Roddy and Glenn Simpson, the 2 guys that joined Colin Dunne for 'Trading Taps', took their bows with Tarique Winston and Daniel Wooten. After watching how awful Lord of the Dance became, because of massive changes to the show, I would hate to see the same thing happen to Riverdance. I heard that the songs " Lift the Wings" and "Heal their hearts", were removed from the show. If that is the case, that is a big mistake. One of my favorite songs from the Michael Flatley version had been removed by the time they got to New York. I hope that they don't make anymore changes because then, it will no longer be Riverdance.😮 Don't forget the saying :" if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
