I think the "Mid-Range" means the price, cause this is just as powerful as a flagship imo
And the bezels... Just look at the screen and you will forget about it, Like how I almost forget that huge dynamic island sometimes so yeah bezels do not matter in my opinion.

The Google Pixel 8 has started to drop and costs 599 , the Google Pixel 8a 549 ... so no ... that would be a steal ... the best midrange for the price, would be the Nothing phone 2a or the Poco Phone F6 pro, untill Google decides to drop the cost of the 8a everywhere to where it should be ;-)

If Xiaomi, Redmi, Realme, and Poco were sold here in the U.S. Pixel 8a would be $299.99 for 8/128gb. Lack of proper competition has lead to increased prices in the U.S.

The thing is that the Pixel 8a can already be found for 499; and in 1 month or 2 it will be for $400 or less.
These two phones you mentioned are really cool, but the Pixel 8a just seems to be so balanced, that for me, is the new standard in the mid-range. Especially after it drops its price.

I phone this phone to get really hot 🔥. It sort of sucks to be honest because I liked the phone otherwise but what good is it when it gets to hot and has to shut off to cool down

I own both 8a and 8pro finest phones I've ever used. 8pro has outstanding battery life that's the only noticeable difference. 8a is highway robbery at 400
