Hi Julie enjoyed watching your video and seeing your progress on your wips and love the new starts. Good luck 🍀 with the semester. Have a wonderful week and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Wow! You are very talented. I cant believe that pandemic sampler you did. Its gorgeous. Get that up on the wall. Your work is some of the best I’ve seen. And i love that you don’t stitch what everyone else is stitching 😊 good work and keep it up 👍
Hi Julie I hope you have a safe trip on Tuesday if you have to travel back to your place. Love all of your WIPS - they are so pretty. I wish you luck this Semester. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🪡🧵☃️❄️
Lovely WIPs!!! It is so dangerous because my taste is very similar to yours 🤭🤭🤭😅😅 But I can't start anything right now so I will enjoy your pieces and maybe someday I finish mine and can start some. Happy stitching 😘😘
I like how you post photos of the piece on the screen while talking about it, also comparisons of previous stitching to current. I hope you have a wonderful semester and find time for stitching too!
Hi Julie, this the second FlossTube I’ve watched of yours. The other was your WIP parade. Your subject choices are beautiful!! You have so many full coverage pieces that are going to be stunning when you finish them. With your busy life I don’t see how you get so much done. Love the new long dog sampler you started!! I’m tempted to try it! Did you say you were using 28ct adia cloth? I didn’t know they made it that small. Hope you get a snow day so you have an extra day at home. Take care and looking forward to your next video.
Love the colours in your Haeds, they are so bright and cheerful. Glad you found the list and can continue your Linen and Threads sal, it's so pretty. I hope your classes get cancelled, but make sure you stay safe on those roads whatever happens! Much love from London UK x
When you pick a color (talking about the HAED Tiki beach) and go with it, it's called "cross country" stitching. I am also a one color at a time stitcher (sort of). I can't go too far for fear of making a mistake... you're doing great!
So glad you found your Linen n Thread floss list. Your color choices are real pretty. You can’t go wrong with Long Dog. I have Hoity Toity and I can’t wait to start it. But I need to finish something big before starting another. Hope you have a good semester
I'm just getting back into stitching after a 6 year hiatus. (Had my 3rd baby). I have a HAED that I have been so intimidated by, but you have inspired me to get my *stuff* together and get going! Love the side by side of your progress! Sending love from Minneapolis!
Hi Julie You'll be glad that you've tried different counts of fabric. I think each one has it's own merits, I will usually default to 25ct or 28ct but stitch 1x1, so it makes the designs smaller. I'm happy that you found the colours for the L&T SAL, it's pretty and it would be a shame to UFO it. I hope that you get your snow day!! Hugs Marie
thank you!! yes I definitely like that 28ct makes the project smaller and its been fun trying that 1x1. and my class did end up getting cancelled haha :)
Really enjoyed your update and your hair looks beautiful...you remind me of my granddaughter 🥰, which is a very big compliment because she is Gorgeous 😍. Youve gotten alot done and so happy you found your list of colors for that sal. Ive wanted to try 25-28 ct fabric but they havent carried it in our Michael's or Hobby Lobby yet...in fact our new Michael's isn't going to Carry cross stitch items anymore 😥. Not sure if my old eyes can see it,but I do have a magnifier Ott Lamp that I haven't used yet....that might help.Stay safe getting back to college....its very cold in Texas 28° but no snow. We are not used to cold weather here 🤣😂. The way you are stitching reminds me of Vanni on Thread the needle...she does diagonal and picks a color and stitches downwards then back up from the bottom if she still has thread left on her needle. Check her out if you haven't all ready, she does some beautiful full coverages too and has a tutorial on how she does her diagonal stitching. Until next flosstube....stay safe and enjoy what your stitching 🥰
Love your projects! I am working on the full size Tiki Beach Sunset. I absolutely love that picture. You made a great start! I think I showed the progress on minne in my last WIP parade. It has been awhile since I've worked on it, but your video is making me want to pick it back up!
Hi Julie, I absolutely love your stitching, The long dog sampler you did was stunning, I think it was called Pademic, I would love to do that but I’m an absolute beginner so that will probably have to wait till later. Also I’m not good at picking out colors, the colors you chose were stunning, do you have them posted anywhere? Also, The last piece you showed on this video what pattern was that and is it they called for colors? I love them both so much I want to get them for later. Do you do one stitch at a time? Or do you go across with one leg and then come back and fill in the hole cross? Sorry for all the questions, lol 🤷♀️ I’ve only done 2 Small pieces and I’d love to try a small Sampler, I’ve bought lots of patterns but there intimidating 😳 Ty and keep the Videos Coming please 🥰
thank you! the colors I did for Pandemic are DMC 310, 208, 798, 961, and 3346. the last pattern is the Fox and Rabbit SAL 2021 (they used to be called Linen and Threads) and those are colors that I chose from stash :) If there are lines of color than I go across and come back, I rarely do one stitch at a time unless the color is by itself. don't apologize for questions haha, thanks for watching!
Just what I needed while filling orders (I own 1884 Stitchery). Fingers crossed classes are cancelled for Tuesday 🤞I went to college in Northern California and never had any of my classes cancelled. I've been doing videos for almost 4 years now and I have recorded a WIP parade.
my class did end up getting cancelled :) we don't get snow too often so when it does happen everything shuts down haha. I will definitely watch your video!!
I am curious if your classes were canceled. I saw on the news (from Florida) that there was a lot of snow in your area. You will still love 18 after using 28 evenweave... its fun to go back and forth.
my class did end up getting cancelled, but the college was only on a delay surprisingly! the k-12 schools have been closed all week due to many back roads still covered in snow/ice. And I think you're right about the 18/28 count fabric, it's nice to switch it up :)
Love your new starts! I am itching for a heaven and earth start. I have a wip parade if your in need of something to watch! I also love watching them while stitching.
Hope your class was cancelled! I have a 19 year old daughter in college that is very crafty - she crochets. You remind me of her. Your projects are lovely. I really need to get pattern keeper set up so I can get motivated to work on my HAEDs.
Pattern keeper is very easy to set up and use....if this old lady can do it,I have faith you can. Its such a big help...you will wonder why you waited so long
Hey Julie! I love your WIP and I want to design you a custom pattern (free of charge of course), please let me know if there is a way I can contact you :)
Hi Julie enjoyed watching your video and seeing your progress on your wips and love the new starts. Good luck 🍀 with the semester. Have a wonderful week and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩

I just love your channel. Pink is my favorite color. Your work is so pretty. Hope school is going great.

thank you!! I didn't end up having class Tuesday so I drove up in the middle of the day while the sun was up melting some of the ice. :)
@@julienicely8614 - Good - I am glad that you did not have class on Tuesday and had a safe drive back home. ❤️
so I too was watching ALL the Wip Parades and for some reason specifically YOUR video made me restart my Pandemic - so happy with it! Thank you!
I really like how you showed your progress side by side with your old status. Great idea!
Loooove your stuff just subscribed! I’m 23 so it’s awesome finding someone in my age range on flosstube!!
Totally enjoyed your post today. Be safe & keep stitching (between your studies)
thank you!! :)
