- You can build one of these simple cages with just 1x Large sheet of mesh (2.4m x 3m) & 2x Small sheets of mesh (1.2m x 2.4m) and join them with tie wire. Mesh can be found at www.themetalwa... under the WELDMESH Section.
I would probably remove the bottom since if it breaks a little bit they can get fumble foot and use wood posts to connect them and so they stay in the ground but other then that this is a very smart idea and easy build!it looks awsome!
Have to, they can dig.
No that is not good for animals to walk on. Certainly not rabbits. Install a bottom, preferably inside, on the bottom.
Love it. I would add another door at the other end though. It doesn’t look like you could reach all the way to the back.
Thank you!... great Idea too
Such a simple way to do it! I love it
Nice idea to have a secure chicken cage

Superb
Looks super good, question what are you using to connect the wire?
Nice 👍🏼
Siip..mantap..👍👍👍
nice!
I’d add at least one or two stiff hoops towards the middle in order to prevent a predator from just crushing the cage but otherwise, yes, I will definitely be doing this…probably as part of a catio

If for rabbits put a carpet down so they don’t get sore hocks
Rabbits would not get sore hocks from this type of cage/wire.
@@uftc1324 yes they will
@@spongebobsquarepants9001 they will not. Its common for rabbits to get sore hocks on bedding. Wire bottom cages are probibly the best opsion for rabbits. Did you even do reaserch?
Годиться тільки для курчат! Собака рознесе таку конструкцію в хлам 😂😂😂🎉

Samhat is simple and can make a big bird cage
Very nice !
No. Please ?
What did you use as panels? That doesn't look like the roll of cage wire, or else you did really good at flattening it.
Now if anyone’s going to use this for any animal PLEASE I’m begging put patting on the bottom just please animal paws can be very sensitive especially with rabbits and bunnys
What kind of fencing/material is this ?
😱
Please do not misinform people, caged floors are the worst for any animal's paws, especially rabbits that are the only animals from the list to not have any protection underneath their paws. Please remove those animals from the list
Its fine if they're on the ground
Bro put a vedio with measurement
Measurements are on the description box.
👍👍
we are wanting to build a chicken run for the hens to get from their cage to different parts of the property safely. What mesh would I need to order to do this?

Not good for any rabbit wired bottom is bad for they're feet the have no padding on the bottom of they're feet, and hay will get out from the holes the need hay fun fact:Hay is 85% of a rabbits diet. Also the bedding will slip out and they need that for they're waste and I'm getting a baby bunny in less than two days do you think I'm gonna be a good owner? :/
If this were on the grass than the wire bottom would be perfectly fine, and they would not need hay (because they would have grass.) Having wire in the bottom of outdoor runs/bunny holes is a must to prevent anybun from digging out.
Judging by this comment seem to have the top level basic bun mom knowledge. I would advise that you branch out and read up on studies, and other non biased sources as well. This way you can get the most accurate information possible. Also, make sure to do research on the specific breed of rabbit you are getting so you know any breed specifics problems that may occurring. RESEARCH DISEASES! AND WEEKLY AT HOME HEATH CHECKS. These are very important steps that a lot of people don’t do.
No that is very incorrect. Wire is the best opsion for rabbits because they dont walk on their urine or poop, and they dont have pawpads, just tick fur, so they do not feel pain. Rabbits can have pellets as well because most of them have 80% of hay in them alredy. Rabbits will mostly get sore hocks on bedding because they are walking on their urine and poop wich is really bad for them.

Big BIG no for rabbits! They will get sore hocks on their paws! Wire bottom cages are really bad for rabbits! Idk much about other animals because I didn’t do research or anything on them
This would work well for rabbits. It could be placed directly on the ground and moved daily. The rabbits get fresh grass and are protected from predators. I have seen more rabbits get sore hocks from plastic bottom cages. When the cage is not maintained they stand in the urine.... causing ammonia burns.
@@glenns8418 definitely not. Horrible for rabbits
@@glenns8418 no, this will not work, maybe if the grass is think enough but rabbits don't have squishy paw protectors like cats dogs, they are used to soft soil and grass. That's why any hard floor is bad, my rabbit has this problem although it is free roaming and I have several carpets for him, his paws were getting raw from the hard floor. Wire Floors are the worst, rabbits can develop whole foot problems and bleed. It's abuse
@@Blabou you are ignorant and incorrect. Do your research

Nice I hit my diy videos of cages too... Keep it up... Already parked here... Come over my home... God bless

Even a human can fit in there😮
how much this price..
Can you share the dimensions please
For most of these animals the wired floor is bad for their feet I would change the floor
You can always lay down a bedding of hay, straw, whatever is appropriate

Not ok for rabbits.
This would make a very good run/tractor for rabbits actually
@@uftc1324 nope
@@servicedogfozzy1269 do you mind giving and explanation as to why?
@@uftc1324 first, I don’t know the exact measurements of it but it does look to be too small. It is so white bottomed which is not comfortable. It is also dangerous to keep rabbits outside because of disease, predators, etc. it is also an open charge which could make the rabbit nervous. Also an dog x-pen has a lot more space and is much cheaper and better for your rabbit.
@@uftc1324 can you tell me your explanation for why you think they are ok?
Nice
