Here's a barely useful factoid: The thin technic liftarms are 1/2 of a brick width in thickness, they will slide right into a half brick gap. They're the only part I can think of with that size.
This is great vid, thanks, I’m moc designer, just starting out in first year, n while I was familiar with most of this, the few things I wasn’t, this unlocked several ideas for me for future builds 👍🙏🏼
Cobi has even 1/4 of a circle plates, so looks like Lego is catching up slowly there. There are tiles like this already, but not sure about studded plates.
When i saw rhe by two was already basically there I lost my hair! Kaboom! Just like Ricker! I’ve only ever been a set builder. Ever. Since 1980. This videos always make me lose my head when I see what Lego can do. Had no idea. Thanks, Chris. I have to go find my hair now…
Have you tried brackets to cover that 1/4 space between the jumpered brick and the non jumpered bracket? The only issue with Brackets is side stud height when starting with one.
The pieces I think you are referring to as brackets are 1/2 plate thickness. I can't think of anything in 1/4 thickness, but maybe I'm missing it. Do you have a part number i can reference?
@@bricksculpt yes, sorry. what I refer to is parts like 36841, 36840, 79389, 73825, 99781, 99780 and so on. the snot sections of those parts are not flush with the side of a brick so I thought they may bridge that gap with jumper sections.
@@edfr5002 Thanks for clarifying with part examples. The snot brackets you are referring to have a thickness of 1/2 plate that sticks out sideways. It can be used to fill the gap partially, and can definitely be used in tandem with a jumper to create great details but will not fill it completely as it isn't a 1/4 increment.

I love this comment lol.

Nice find! Not super useful but good to know that's a measurement they use!
Could you use a jumper for the open stud then lay a half thick technic liftarm in to round out your snot wall?
this is basic lego knowledge lol

Thanks! I'm glad it was helpful!
Lego theory is something I didn’t know I needed in my life until today! 😁
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Really helps me understand how to use all the spare Lego parts from sets I have
Very well thought out video. :)
Thanks!
Incredible video as always! Thanks for the continued awesome content.
Thanks for watching as always 😁
Yes. Thanks for killing the Lego game!
Really useful in helping me understand jumper plates better. Thank you!
Thank you! Glad it was helpful!
Very high quality walk-through. Several points were new to me. More of this, please 😃
I felt so smart for guessing that Rick was the secret jumpet.
Insightful, thank you!!
Thanks for watching!
Excellent video. Very useful.
Glad you think so!
I want you to make more piece review videos! These are amazing
Thanks will keep them coming!
Thanks, I learned a lot!
Thanks for watching

Thank you so much for the great compliment. People like you are what makes me want to do this.
Insert 4599's bar into the SNOT hole of 4070. The pieces end up with an offset of 3/4 plates height.
7:11 nooo Rick don't do it!!
Lol not that kind of jumper 🤣🤣🤣
Can you go over all the names people use for the various pieces?
I don't really know the names other than what I called them in the video 🫠 sorry.
I thought we’d be discussing in detail the song from Third Eye Blind’s self-titled debut studio album.
That video is coming soon.

6:51 ah, i can build a castle on the torsos of my enemies 😨
Love that!
To bridge the gap: 99781 Bracket 1 x 2 - 1 x 2?
#3176 Plate, Modified 2 x 3 with Hole
Nice catch! That's for sure a jumper!
i wish you would step back from that ledge my friend
