It's funny how I heard that IoA was originally based off of literature, or properties originally from literature, and in a way, that's still how it is. In my mind, whenever I hear rumors about whatever land or attraction may be coming to IoA, I kind of strike them all down. The two attractions being actively expanded (jurassic park, harry potter) are based off of books, and I haven't heard any confirmations of anything non-book coming there. All the big non-book attractions that I hear floated from Universal seem to be going to Epic Universe. All this to say my hot take is the next land at IoA is going to be Shonen Jump.
I agree, I think that island’s is gonna keep its theming forever unlike Disney that gave up on stuff like Epcot which was to educate and bring innovation to the public. Now we’re getting moana land just for the money 💀, if Universal is smart, they should extend to other forms of book media like manga. People would go crazy over a attack on titan land in the states, so type of my hero academia land, Hunter x Hunter, or any big popular anime. Or make it everything shonen. (Also, if marvel ever goes, I think it’s a given Universal will buy DC rights for Batman since he’s basically DC’s most popular hero.)
I never made the literature connection, but I after Nintendo I always thought manga IPs would be the next step for Universal. A Shōnen Jump area would be perfect.

USH has LOADS of poorly managed space for the studio tour. I think it would behoove them to do a massive overhaul of the tour and move some of the main sets and demos closer together to not only make it shorter (does it need to be 40+ minutes? No) and separate it from the more serious production lot. This way they can actually use some of that area to make it a more dedicated park section.
They want to expand into the back lot but there is a massive golf course they have been trying to buy for years that is blocking expansion. If they can get a hold of this golf course, they can expand massively.

Off-topic, but I'd love to see another Pirates of the Caribbean-style animatronic ride come to Universal in the future. I'd love to see that, I've even imagined one based on one of the Fire Emblem games, complete with animatronics.
USH is building more Soundstage within the Backlot. They will use the historic ones near Super Nintendo World for future expansion. Positive note they have saved the walls from the sound stage that was used to film the original Phantom of the Opera
Not initially as land permits have been filed and Jurassic is nowhere to be found. But they do have two expansion lots (iirc) and I can easily see Jurassic going in one if the demand is there. Maybe even an updated one based on future films in the franchise. Who knows 🤷♂️
Great video, so wet how cat in the hat will be in the park for awhile. I also have to say that dinosaur that was charging at you would definitely be a cool experience to see in person.
I honestly agree with your idea about bringing Jurrasic World Adventure to Hollywood's lower lot and getting rid of Mummy and Transformers to basically make another mini-land in the park. If Transformers is doing so well in China, let them have it, gut the Transformers show building and rework it a bit since it has the same ride system. The Mummy could be turned into an indoor version of the Velocicoaster imo. You are right, the 90s Mummy reboot is on its last legs and kinda needs to be swapped out at this point.
Hot take (and I think we’d all hate the idea): I think if the Jurassic World ride from Beijing comes to Orlando, I think you’re more likely to see River Adventure replaced than either option presented here (replacing Kong or Camp Jurassic). Water rides have overall higher operation costs than normal dry rides (if I’m wrong about this, please correct me lol). I’m not endorsing this idea. Believe me, I’d prefer to keep River Adventure (maybe, *at most*, change it to the Hollywood JW version). I just think this is most likely to happen if we transport JW from Beijing.
Another awesome video dude! There are rumors of Paramount and Comcast merging as a company so we could see more transformers and Nickelodeon up in the parks.
To be honest, as much I would love to have the Jurassic World ride in the domestic parks, I can’t see any of USB’s original attractions copied anywhere else. It’s just part of what makes that park so unique! They were also specifically chosen for a Chinese market. Especially in the case of Transformers, they just don’t work as well over here.
I like the idea of Camp Jurassic going away in favor for a new ride, they can take a page out of what they did next door at universal with transformers and build upwards and make it a 2 story ride since space is limited

What Universal needs is shows, because right now, the Rides are very much not "fluffy friendly". As an example, I have a barrel chest so even if I lose weight it's not going to change much, and I struggle to get the shoulder bars to lock. Shows, that we can work with.
I would love to have a jurassic world themed land in the lower lot, but there is a big problem. The jurassic world adventure ride is the same exact story as the current river adventure. Story wise, it makes no sense. Unless the boat ride where to takeout the either I-rex or the t rex just tweak the story a bit, but I really don't see this happening. However if they where to make a clone of the Jurassic world adventure ride in Hollywoods transformers ride, they could easily recreat the Mainstreet area from the film. They could make a full service restaurant (probably being amber themed) replacing the currant panda express. And also replace the mummy with less intens indoor velocicoaster.
Very good point. Like I said, I tried to avoid watching much of the POV so that didn't really cross my mind. In that case, tweaks would definitely have to be made if it was brought over
@@AttractionIdeas before they made jurassic park river adventure in ush they were thinking of adding a jeep system ride with a dinosaur chasing it. But the problem was they didn’t have the technology to make the dinosaur to chase the vehicle back then. So they decided to go with a boat system ride.

I really hope they don't replace Mavel with Transformers. I mean on one side that would potentially mean having an Avengers Campus in WDW, but the Marvel Universal land is another vibe that can't be replaced. I mean it probably won't happen but just saying I hope it doesn't.
Honestly I would LOVE to see the Jurassic world dark ride come to one of the US parks (just so I could selfishly ride it lol) but I’m not sure if I can see that happening as it’s a good exclusive ride for Bejing universal to have. If that dark ride is brought to the US parks, there’s nothing in the Bejing park that makes it stand out from the other universal parks, given that the transformers roller coaster is a copy of hulk, and the king fu panda boat ride and pterodactyl flyers aren’t good enough rides to stand as the main attractions. So even though I would love to see this ride in the US parks, I do think that it’s better just in Bejing at least for now
Nah screw China. Universal would make so much more money if they made it in another location, most notably Orlando. While China is a huge market, the vast majority of guests is going to be people already in China. Orlando is a much bigger market because it attracts people from all over the world, and a bigger market means bigger bucks. Also I REALLY want to go on that ride, but I can't see myself ever going to China in my lifetime as it is now.
They could replace King Kong for sure with JWA. Especially that the whole King Kong area use to belong to Jurassic Park. They’re slowly making it all Jurassic World. Possible river adventure updates and a revamp of Camp Jurassic to Camp Cretaceous is supposedly been rumored.
King Kong is now a Warner bros property according to Godzilla vs Kong. And Jurassic park river adventure opened in 1999 with island of adventure so it’s getting really old for universal to still keep as Jurassic park. I’m sure retheming Jurassic park river adventure to Jurassic world the ride(river adventure) would be a cool thing to see.
@@nessa0492 Agreed. Although I am not sure how much WB owns King Kong, yes they did the Kong and Godzilla Movies, but I think there are discrepancies when it comes to the "King Kong" name and brand of movie. Almost like how Disney does not own the fairy tails - Cinderalla, Pinocchio, etc. They own "their" version of those stories. Regardless, if they wanted to keep it Jurassic Park, they should have made Jurassic World at Epic.
They should replace the DreamWorks theater with the Illumination theater and reconstruct the building to make it exactly like the same design in Beijing, and the show will obviously be Sing On Tour, and the actual cast from the films will dub the quotes. Although it isn't a ride, it's still an attraction from Beijing that needs to be in the US, most likely in USH.
I honestly just want that Transformers Rollercoaster in the states, they can keep the whole land in Beijing. It works over there more and just makes more sense
I'm praying to the Universal Gods and Comcast that Jurassic World: Adventure comes to Hollywood. I know there isn't that much room for any huge attraction, which is why, (AND I'M REALLY REALLY REALLY SAD TO SAY THIS)......... But I do think they should replace Revenge Of The Mummy with another Jurassic World Attraction. I love Revenge Of The Mummy, it was one of the rides I was scared of riding it when I was a child, but finally conqured my fear and rode it when I was fifteen years old, I had wonderful memories on it, but the ride is looking like it's slowly loosing it's popularity at the moment. We can still have the Dark Ride Rollercoaster for Jurassic World, like the Velocicoaster. Idk, only time will tell and what ever the heck Universal and Comcast will do.
I think getting rid of unique IPs like kong, transformers and mummy for Jurassic world would be a travesty especially in Hollywood since the park would basically just be Harry Potter, Simpsons, Jurassic world (with no park), minions and Nintendo with a feature from dream works and slop. That would be fine for a second park but since it’s their one and only park shoving in as many IPs as possible is their goal pretty much is tear or full out lands
If Universal was to retheme Marvel super hero Island, then the only proper replacement would be Shonen Jump. You could have the Fantastic Four Cafe, Storm Force, and Hulk rethemed to Dragon Ball with that area becoming Capsule Corp and Hulk being rethemed into a Super Saiyan Coaster. Spider-Man would be rethemed to My Hero Academia, Dr Doom could be retrofitted into something else like a Chainsaw Man drop tower or could be demolished into a new ride or experience, we could also get the Cafe from Tokyo Ghoul and a Restaurant themed after Food Wars. Then in between Marvel and Toon Lagoon, that area could be themed to a Demon Slayer mini land, with a dark ride attraction. Later on Toon Lagoon could also be retired for an expansion which would become The Hidden Leaf Village from Naruto and a smaller One Piece area replacing Popeyes ride and exterior.
In Beijing, Jurassic World Adventure ride looks the best. In the states, my favorite right now is Transformers The Ride. Haven't ridden Velocicoaster yet.
Always feels weird when I am reminded of Kong and how its placement feels like something I would do in a Theme park sim which is just jamming it in where there is space. So weird it's just randomly there. Its also as lame as F&F so its such a waste of space where we could have gotten something like the Beijing JW ride.
How popular is Skull Island really in IOA? It's probably anticipated that Jurassic Park RIver Adventure will be rethemed at some point to fit the JW theme with Velocicoaster and the JW Ride from Beijing would cap off a perfectly fantastic land by replacing Skull Island. It's arguably the biggest IP behind Harry Potter.
3:20-3:32 Nice one. Though every time you try to sound like you’re yelling, it always sounds like you’re trying to keep your voice down at the same time. Why do you do that? Just curious.
What does that mean for Nintendo in Hollywood with this retheme when it opens next year ? and bring Jurassic world isala nublar to ioa, Japan, and Singapore to replace Jurassic park in ioa, Japan and Singapore and Kong in ioa
Here’s what I think transformers should have the metro base in the new epic universe and Hasbro Paramount and Universal I think the better distinguish it would either turn it into a hodgepodge of ideas from Transformers and use the evergreen designs or go down the route Hasbro has been taking with legacy and beast the entire metro base off of the original generation one animated series
I called it in my head. Nothing from Beijing comes to Orlando, and maybe one ride for Hollywood. Let China have their own exclusive rides, nothing wrong with that honestly
I don't really see any of those coming to the states. I mean, if Universal wanted to exploit a loophole in their agreement with Steven Spielberg so they could get rid of E.T. Adventure, once and for all, I can SORT OF see them turning the Jurassic Park section of Islands Of Adventure into Jurassic World, but they've kind of already made it 80% Jurassic Park/20% Jurassic World.
Yeah if we were to get another Jurassic land (which is already pretty doubtful), I would have to think it would come as an expansion land in Epic Universe. Putting Jurassic in the Studios park would be an odd and unlikely choice.
I love how he forgot to mention Super Nintendo world when talking about Jurassic world in Hollywood and making the backlot Jurassic theme. It just won’t work
god if they do the ministry of magic instead of ilvermorny im gonna lose my shit, this would be a perfect time for universal to do something amazing and unique and have kinda a blank sheet to create magic and they are messing it up by not doing a ilvermorny land or ride. the ride can be the story of its founding as a dark ride or boat ride through the american dark forest.
I don’t want Transformers to go but I think universal should move transformers to a new park in cali Edit:Jurassic world adventure has another huge issue ready for this oh yeah IT DOSEN’T GO WITH ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE SINCE THEY WIULD HAVE TO RE THEME THE ARE SINCE THEY HAVE JP NOT JW
Not necessarily. The land is basically a hodgepodge between the two with Velocicoaster and the Raptor Encounter being themed to Jurassic World already.
Would love a Jurassic world theme lands like the one they have in Beijing. Just asking is there a reason why universal hasn’t done anything with the SpongeBob and FNAF properties yet
I actually made a whole video about the Spongebob situation (th-cam.com/video/98zkZPoZsfo/w-d-xo.html). As for FNAF I would imagine they're waiting to see if it can be successful in another medium outside of video games.
I agree with SpongeBob even though he is in lots of other parks like nickelodeon universe it is still possible since he is very popular and already has a presentence in the park. As much as I love fanf it will never happen due to the series dying due to the games being dragged on and not as successful and who knows if the movie will ever come out. Plus, universal will have video game presentence when Super Nintendo World opens in Hollywood and Epic Universe and has plenty of Nintendo IP to work with
They should put the Jurassic World dark ride in The Lost Continent. That part of the park is just.....well it's a little bit of a waste of space. In my opinion
I always wanted Jurassic park to be rethemed to Jurassic world in Orlando! Why won’t we retheme Jurassic world in Orlando and replace Kong with the new Jurassic world adventure ride.
If the rumours are to be believed, the kung foo panda area was supposed to be based on spongebob initially and kung foo panda was chosen after negotiations with the rights holder fell through.
Only mentioned the rides exclusive to Beijing, but WaterWorld will always have a murky at best chance of coming to Orlando. Great show, irrelevant IP makes for a risky venture, unless you open it alongside other attractions
As someone that has been on the Kung Fu Panda I can confirm that it is absolutely atrocious (far worse than the Madagascar ride in Singapore). Kung Fu Panda was both very popular and culturally significant in China and Universal was expecting it to be a big hit (it has the longest queue that I have ever seen,) so they phoned in the attraction itself. Transformers is very popular in China and it’s surprising they secured the rights from Paramount, as Paramount is looking to build it’s own theme park (the third largest in China behind Disneyland Shanghai and Universal Studios Beijing). Jurassic World Adventure is good but overhyped. You want avoid spoilers but the footage you showed is basically the ride, it’s two amazing show scenes but the rest is filler. Jurassic Flyers is perhaps even worse than Kung Fu Panda, it has the intensity of a dark ride without any show elements. Many people (including myself) are surprised to see it finish because they don’t realise it’s started. All in all you should hope that none of these attractions come to the USA, Universal Studios is a disappointment. Although I don’t enjoy all the changes made to Disneyland Shanghai I can appreciate Disney put its best foot forward. Universal Studios on the other hand lazy to the point of being offensive.
Come on Disney tell universal to give up the rights and buy Paramount global from national amusements and move it to ioa and bring metro base to Japan to replace jaws like harry did and Singapore to replace sci fi city
Nah I don't think so. The Chinese parks are designed for the Chinese people. There are enough people living there for them to not even really think about bringing in people from other countries.
Honestly Sing on Tour needs to definitely be brought to Universal Studios hollywood it would definitely fit within the area where Secret life of pets off the leash and Despicable Me Minion Mayhem are at and then Universal could just call the area "Illumination Plaza" and honestly I could see Transformers the ride over at Hollywood be removed a dried replaced by Jurassic world adventure I mean yeah Transformers the ride is loved by many by im pretty sure that the contract with Universal and Paramount to have Transformers in the park will expire soon, also Velocitcoaster needs to be brought to Hollywood
I'd imagine they have a similar license agreement for Transformers as they do with the Simpsons ride -- 20 year license. Transformers opened in 2012, it's got 10 years left. The Jurassic World Adventure in Beijing has the same plot as the boat ride in Hollywood, so it wouldn't make sense.
Did you know: Xi Jingping’s favorite ride in Disneyland Shanghai is The many adventures of Winnie the Pooh. He says its “A mirror into my soul”
I believe it

@@dasoupsoup everyone hates China
You should do a video for a dark ride idea based on The LEGO Movie 1 & 2!
They need to add the Jurassic World dark ride in Hollywood I can ride it all day and never get bored
Jurassic world adventure should replace mummy at USH
I would love the transformers land I’m a huge transformer fan
Oh no!!!! I don’t want Mummy to go!!!! Please don’t let go!!!!
You can ride the Transformers roller coaster if you go to Florida, it’s just themed to the Incredible Hulk.
Singapore has the best Pteranodon Flyers type ride, hands down.
4:37
Obviously, it's Hasbro who owns Transformers. Paramount just owns the movie rights, so...yeah, could be.
I think the kung fu panda boat ride could be put in kid zone, where the Barney ride used to be.
Mummy is EXTREMELY popular in Hollywood lol
I think getting rid of unique IPs like kong, transformers and mummy for Jurassic world would be a travesty especially in Hollywood since the park would basically just be Harry Potter, Simpsons, Jurassic world (with no park), minions and Nintendo with a feature from dream works and slop. That would be fine for a second park but since it’s their one and only park shoving in as many IPs as possible is their goal pretty much is tear or full out lands
7:29 But what about Nintendo World?
Should use the king ride system build a hurry park “safari” ride
Ok add in Transformers but use G1 instead of Bay's... things for evergreen and because it's better.
CAN YOU PLEASE make one about replacing hester and Chester’s Dino Rama in animal kingdom
10:25 why not the Jurassic park river adventure being replaced?
Tear down King Kong and add Jurassic world adventure!!!
What ride do you like best
In Beijing, Jurassic World Adventure ride looks the best. In the states, my favorite right now is Transformers The Ride. Haven't ridden Velocicoaster yet.
Is The Mummy in Hollywood worse? In Orlando its an awesome coaster and very popular.
It's arguably the biggest IP behind Harry Potter.
not it fully hitting me again that there are no longer no dreamworks properties in universal orlando 🥺
how can it be
3:20-3:32 Nice one. Though every time you try to sound like you’re yelling, it always sounds like you’re trying to keep your voice down at the same time. Why do you do that? Just curious.
It's my signature whisper yell. The ladies love it!
I would like to see in the US is Jurassic World and Kung Fu Panda
I called it in my head. Nothing from Beijing comes to Orlando, and maybe one ride for Hollywood. Let China have their own exclusive rides, nothing wrong with that honestly
I wish Jurassic world would come to Orlando
i think jurassic franchise the ride would be in epic universe in universal orlando
USH is building 8 new soundstages to demolish 8 soundstages to expand the park
What about making a new ride for an older cartoon called animaniacs.
I wish Super Nintendo World was skipped at Hollywood and they instead built the Jurassic World Adventure in its place.
I don’t want Transformers to go but I think universal should move transformers to a new park in cali
Edit:Jurassic world adventure has another huge issue ready for this oh yeah IT DOSEN’T GO WITH ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE SINCE THEY WIULD HAVE TO RE THEME THE ARE SINCE THEY HAVE JP NOT JW
Not necessarily. The land is basically a hodgepodge between the two with Velocicoaster and the Raptor Encounter being themed to Jurassic World already.
@@AttractionIdeas so it’s Jurassic whatever the hell you need it to be
Would love a Jurassic world theme lands like the one they have in Beijing.
Plus, universal will have video game presentence when Super Nintendo World opens in Hollywood and Epic Universe and has plenty of Nintendo IP to work with
Can't believe they ditched the Madagascar land only after a decade lmao
That’s in Singapore. It’s there right now but it is being replaced with minions eventually
I pick Jurassic World because it’s like a combination of Spider-Man meets Dinosaur 😊
And Hasbro and you also Forget and theme to Transformers 4 and you know what I mean Chinese market
I say yeah Universal should replace Marvel land with Transformers land! Marvel land should go to Disney so is Simpsons land too.
They should put the Jurassic World dark ride in The Lost Continent. That part of the park is just.....well it's a little bit of a waste of space. In my opinion
4:29 I can't follow your argument against two identically themed rides in Universal Studios and Island of Adventure. Harry Potter, anyone?
Kung Fu Panda
What I think the mouse is for the kids universals for the adults and it should stay as such
I always wanted Jurassic park to be rethemed to Jurassic world in Orlando! Why won’t we retheme Jurassic world in Orlando and replace Kong with the new Jurassic world adventure ride.
The pieces are there for you to one day get your wish
The Transformers ride at Universal does absolutely nothing for me, given it is a direct knock-off of the superior Spider-Man ride.
Paramount?, thought transformers was owned by hasbro
If the rumours are to be believed, the kung foo panda area was supposed to be based on spongebob initially and kung foo panda was chosen after negotiations with the rights holder fell through.
What about Waterworld
Get rid of the Fast and Furious Stunt show and put the Jurassic ride there
You my friend, Are a Literal Genius.
Edit: Fnf is on the opposite side of the park sadgge
Do you think Chinese theme parks are designed to learn people from places like Los Angeles Where Disneyland located to China
