If you don't know Joseph Stiglitz, he grew up in the rust belt and has been motivated to find economic solutions for USA middle class. His biggest beef has been that the benefits of globalisation were not distributed fairly in the USA and if they were, the overall economy would be better/bigger. Workers who lost their jobs to China etc didn't really get the compensation or share in the profit boost to corporations offshoring their operations.

Shouldn't America want a Nobel prize winner in economics as their President? I knew there must have been a better candidate than Trump somewhere in that big country.

If Trump came to a fork in the road, with one path headed toward unlimited power and the other toward unlimited attention.
He would not know he is at a fork in the road.
He’d already be running down the path to unlimited attention.

@@ML6103 Although it doesn't mean much, the Aus Institute isn't centrist and has a clear progressive left-lean. That's not to say I dislike the Aus Institute, but just in the name of intellectual transparency.

You are aware you just spilled a bunch of nonsense, yeah? 🤣 Causality? As in Hume, as in David Louis? "realtimecondensation, "holistic self" Heidegger's self??!!" 🤣🤣 F@ck, you really just spilled some gibberish real good. Kudos for the lunacy. 🙌🏻
