It’s probably too late for Chloe to see this, but the red fabric paint is probably puffy paint so you can make raised blood drops.

yeah like the things where cool but not worth the price in my opinion, i got 3 paints and 3 large streatched canvas’ for that price so.. and like the pumpkin and glitter you can get in hobby craft for like a pound..

I realize doing one through ABC would take a long time, but partnering with an established outlet like Arteza would be the bomb! We all love you and value your recommendations!!! NO, I would not pay $50 for that. Downloaded Toon Blast. It's so much fun!

I can definitely say that, that tickles.😂I'm getting a pretty good picture in my head of what I would expect since you have such a amazing Chloe Rose-thought-process surrounding projects(from what you shown in videos) and just creativity in general. That paired with some of the products you already are offering, like your brushes (perfect way to get more people to test them and fall in love with them) could definitely be a winner! seriously LOVE that Chloe pays attention to and creates her own closed captioning. Not everyone does, and since she speaks quickly sometimes and I don't 100% understand everything in an English accent, I really appreciate it. Thanks, Chloe! Hope you're doing well!

The first thing that came to mind with the fabric paint/marker: You could use the ribbons in the back of the pumpkin for the eyes and mouth!! And you could make cute designs with the marker and add blood or like a glow
Chloe, every time you says fiancé I have to smile. I remember my husband proposing and for ages after I used to get a little frisson of pure joy at the thought that he was my husband to be. I’ll be honest, I think I’d cry if I opened up an advent calendar and this was all I got for $50! The items on their own are worth maybe what, $10-15? $20 if we’re being really generous?

Agreed! Also, I gotta bring up how you don't even get to do one activity until day 3. For $50 they couldn't even give us an actual activity to do on day one? We had to wait for paint brushes?

Love the concept. Not a huge fan of their execution or price. Why would I buy this when I can get a few small canvases, and wooden paintables at the dollar store. Even if you consider the cost of paint, and brushes it's sadly not worth it.
It would be much more fun and much more affordable if you got together with a friend, set yourself a budget to spend at a craft store, and then collated a set of materials that you could give to each other as an “Advent calendar” for all kinds of occasions! (Hallowe’en, birthdays, Diwali…)
@@feuilletonisteI spent $55 dollars at the dollarama and bought enough craft supplies to make 3 Halloween craft kits to take on holiday for my kid and niece and nephew. I most definitely did better than this calendar so you would for sure have way a better time doing a dollar store run with your bestie
@@feuilletoniste 100% agree. Between all the big craft stores you can get exceptional deals on supplies and I love the idea of making an advent calendar for different occasions or even just because.
More or less the same reason you buy an advent calendar instead of a bar of chocolate.

I was so excited for a Halloween box that I almost bought this before anyone had opened it. Seeing this, I'm so glad I held back- if I'd paid $50 for that I would have been very unhappy.

The calendar is very cute! The brain!😂💕 and your doggys are so adorable! I could imagine, that the fabric paint might be.used like a 3d paint to give a textured look on any surface. It behaves a little bit like puffy paint but without the heat... you could have made some "blood drips" with it for example😊

Not a Halloween person, but this was fun to watch and you clearly had fun making some cute Halloween crafts. I particularly liked the pumpkin decoration and the way you used both the green and orange paint.
The idea of a Halloween Advent calendar is really cool but $50 for that bit of projects not so cool
Chloe you can use the fabric paint on the canvas and the wood pumpkin because I have used it for those things before and I really enjoy the results.
I saw that last week but wasn’t about to pay $50 for it! That’s ridiculous. I like how the hexie canvas turned out!!
Right these are like dollar store supplies now maybe $25 bucks tops but this seems like a 19.99 calendar
@@Amsayy $25 seem like a fair price since they do need to make a profit and they did plan and make the the calendar. $50 is way too high.
Hullo Chloe, Your a wonderful presenter and I know this is why you get asked to demonstrations! You make it look so easy and fun to do! I am not so sure I would spend $50.00 on a Halloween box, but I bet my sister would! I think if you were to do several projects, THEN you wold be the resource and a guide book would not be needed! That's just a thought that came to me as I watched your video! I bet you could even make more pumpkin's and then have a whole patch! Your such a fun creator and I want more! I look forward to seeing what you have next video!

I'm absolutely gutted that I can't afford these Arteza calendars - I would probably keep the back of the box (or even try to open it from the base so I could keep the box intact) because it looks cool!

I couldn’t justify that price, especially since it would be more for me in Canada if it was available here. I’d much rather just buy the paints and markers and have more choice and then pick up the craft items from the dollar store. Plus it is only 13 days, not 31. That being said, I appreciate the thought that went into it, the box design is great, and advent calendars are such fun. I love the idea of a little treat everyday!

Loved the calendar concept, the art you made was also incredible! I loved the effect of the paint pour under natural light! Also unrelated to the video but that Goosebumps picture you included was of Goosebumps in Brazilian Portuguese and as a Brazilian fan that made me oddly happy haha 🤣🥺💕

Arteza every year had been putting little ideas on the doors of the advent calendars for a couple of years now so im sure the doors had ideas for you to do with the supplies it came with
Fabric paint gives off a 3D effect. With the red you can make 3D blood drips.

I looked it up and 3D fabric paint can be used on other surfaces such as paper, wood, and canvas. I used some on my pumpkin and a sketchbook painting.
I agree that it needed some prompts or something. The Christmas ones tend to have a little blurb about each item that gives you an idea of what to use it for (such as painting a gingerbread man with brown paint you get on a certain day).

This is actually messed up. I'm from Europe. Do American brands forgot what Advent is and when it starts? Are you so stupid and actually buy this? This seems like a money grab. I know that a lot of people like a spooky season but this is too much for me. Fun fact, we don't really celebrate Halloween. It's not that popular here where I live. Instead we visit our relative's graves and leave there candles and flowers just to show the respect for them. It's like reminder that we didn't forget them even if they are dead now. The graveyards look so pretty at night with a thousand burning candles on people's relatives graves.

Weirdly ive seen both a tea and a nail polish advent calendar type thing for Halloween this year. Tea one was bird and blend tea, nail polish was orly collab with kelli marissa

I think it would totally be worth the price if doing it with kids or as a family activity. I would have changed a few things though. It would be cool if the first day had a little note saying "hang up and enjoy this unfinished ornament, then each day we'll decorate it a little more." Then the second day I'd put in the flat brush and orange paint to create a simple colored decoration, the third day have the black paint and round brush to paint details, etc. Then, without really any added cost, you would have a little activity to do each day instead of having to wait to collect all the materials before doing the project.

It is a great alternative to the traditional calendar but the price tag is a bit steep fro what you get. I wish there was a guide with the retail prices so you can see the actual value of the box. I will say the Arteza pouring paint is great especially for beginners and dabblers. I have their paint markers in the size you received and also the chunkier chisel tip ones. My one complaint about the markers is that they bleed if you're not careful. The less pressure the better and have a scrap piece of paper and a paper towel nearby to wipe any extra off. I wouldn't buy this calendar but would consider the Christmas one if reasonably priced. Love your channel Chloe and the pups are adorable.

I love that tiny pink brain! It looked very pensive 😂 I love advent calendars, full stop, any time of year - but yeah, this is a pricey one and I don’t think the things you get fully makes it seem worth it.
I think the fabric paint is in there so you can paint fake blood onto your halloween costumes maybe 🤔
