    So if I followed correctly, Presti sent Rashard Lewis (who was going to walk anyways), Reggie Jackson, 2 2nd’s and some role players. For: SGA, Gallanari, 1 2nd, 2 pick swaps and 11 1sts. SGA alone holds more value right now than everything the thunder gave up let alone all the picks they gathered up. Crazy.

People watch Jxmmyhighroller, A.M. hoops, Flemlo raps sports, baseball doesn't exist, total running productions or TRP, Mikerphone, Flight Mike, and they love ALL that TRASH. It is all 100% repackaged trash. Most of what they do is retell a story with some click bait titles and thumbnails, then they don't even add value. They actually subtract value because they're literally just saying things that mostly make no sense. I can't tell you how furious I get when watching one of these trash videos and in the comments there are 1000s of people blow banging it to death when it's literally TRASH.......BUT THIS, BUT THIS.... is literal pure GOLD. This was short but the detail was immaculate and it was something that most people have never covered. This was so great, I hope it gets the play. Americans in 2023 are too dumb for content like this.. OKC has to play the game like this or they'll never have a team. They draft so well too. I've loved watching OKC. Except when Melo was hear showing how overrated his whole career has been.

    Have to agree this is one of the greatest trades of all time… OKC may be the penultimate benefactor however the ultimate winner of this trade, as it sits today, has to be the Pacers. Haliburton, Hield, Nembhard, Nesmith (via no longer needing Brogdon) & the Cavs 2023 1st… All for one guy who publicly announced he wasn’t returning. Maybe in the future OKC will be the ultimate winners but as it sits today Indiana seems to made the most of the repercussions of the Ibaka trade. It’s not just the haul. The team records speak for themselves.

    • @hobbycollectinvest4250
      @hobbycollectinvest4250 ปีที่แล้ว

      I get what you are saying and I agree about your assessment right now but let's not act like Indiana, right now, is so much better than OKC. It's not like we are talking about what will be a 50 win team vs a 30 win team this year, time will tell, actually, let me qualify that, it may be a case of a 44 win team vs. a 32 win team if SGA gets shut down down the stretch for OKC to get a higher lottery pick.....I hear that that may be a thing out in OKC. I like what Indiana did though, they have proven most people wrong, love Haliburton as well!

    I am a former Thunder fan. I would like to see a video on some of Presti's terrible moves and non-moves. Like, the impact of trading away a young 6th man Harden instead of amnestying a washed up Perkins (huge contract). While it is true that Steven Adams showed up as result of a pick gained in the Harden trade, that actually backfired because they basically were forced to give up Ibaka in his prime. Also, can you imagine prime Harden starting at SG instead of Kevin Martin? And they lost Kevin Martin one year later and only got prospect Szymon Szewcyzk in return. As for Steven Adams, all they currently have to show for the trade that sent him to New Orleans is Denver's 1st round pick this year.

    Having all those extra first and second round choices during the next 4 years is great and all, like if your team had fifteen guys on the court at all times. But it's only five at a time. Keep SGA, Giddey and the DORTure chamber, then bundle some picks and some players and trade for two not-too-old established stars.

  • @farrdawgjoker7087
    @farrdawgjoker7087 ปีที่แล้ว

    All these great moves that we have to respect one thing remains, they are not a title contender they aren't making the playoffs and at some point no matter how crafty you are in the front office you have to get to the playoffs you have to contend for a title and to be actually successful you have to win a title! Drafter 3 MVPs but no ring. All those picks but when will they have that guy that everybody in the locker room follows and leads them to the next level will it come in the draft pick or will it come from Trading those draft picks? Because it doesn't matter how amazing you are at working out contracts making good trades picking good draft picks if you can't pull it all together and win a championship.

    The thunder are great at acquiring pics. SGA has turned out to be great for them but otherwise they're not doing all that well as usual. Of course they had those great years with Duran and James harden and Russell Westbrook and then a couple pretty good years after but it's so hard to attract a top 10 guy to Oklahoma City and that's always going to be an issue with them. They're a team that has to build through the draft because nobody wants to party in Oklahoma City. It feels like they're always two or three years away. Who knows what's going to become of them and if Chet is going to be able to be the player that people thought that he might be before the injury. Who knows?

    You can actually track this trade tree back to Chris Webber's draft night. Been working on a project documenting it for the last year now. It's huge.

      How so? Todd Fuller / Vince Carter / Mike Miller with the draft picks but then it’s getting hard to find the link to Rashard Lewis 😭

    You know, rather than sitting on it, maybe they could've been aggressive in adding talent to their Westbrook/KD/Harden teams to get them over the hump.

      that’s a /ibaka, not a / harden. everyone thinks that he was a top 10 guard at the time but he was literally an average 6th man. they had the talent and almost won in 2016 there’s nothing more to it
