Tip number 8 Unlock The Elite Contractor because You Can Have a Cloak and a Spiderbot at The same time which is very usefull but You have to complete both 404 and Albion storylines
This game is a pure sandbox. There's already some hate circulating, mainly that the game is "boring" or "bland". You perfectly showcase how WDL is far deeper than some people want to believe.
yeah that is true but if I have to go that much out of my way just to have fun, why not go with some other title which offers that entertainment directly?
This is exactly the kind of attitude players of this game need to have when playing it. Too many comparisons are being made to GTAV, which is a plot focused game in an open world (and a superb one at that). WDL is a sandbox adventure game with a broad narrative to tie it all together. Absolutely nothing wrong with wanting more from the story, and I feel it holds more potential than it’s realising if they’d cared more for the story, but by simple virtue of the game’s mechanics alone, this is a really fun and surprisingly immersive game
Well, the last 3 chapters (especially the Skye Larsen one) have a very good story to them. So I wouldn't go as far as to criticise Ubisoft for not caring about the story enough. I feel like they've done a good job.
Or does he? *thinks of the size of the microscopic devil bug and its size vs power. Everything you thought you knew is all a giant misunderstanding. On purpose
Ultimately the best advice to EVER have in this game. Explore. If you just stick to fast travelling and driving fast to destinations you will miss out on SO MUCH. I just found and tagged a bee keeper RIGHT NOW without having done the London missions yet, they can spawn in the wild at parks I would assume, thats where I found mine. If you are like me, I can spend hours tagging people, looking at their backstory. It tripped me out when I realized theres a bio explanation for every trait. I have a dude with 2 tech traits and "On Probation" For example. I wondered at first why an "Unemployed" dude had such good tech based traits till I looked into his bio and pieced it together. he was a former worker with Blume who got fired for stealing office supplies. Given he is also on probation, I assume that he was also arrested for what he stole. ANd thats just ONE person. This game is pretty buggy but I am having an utter blast finding cool and unique people.
That sounds like amazing advice for any open world game. Hopefully, I can get WD legion myself sometime soon, I can't wait to build my team of hitmen and hackers.
Fast travel points were reasonable in WD1 but WD2 destroyed the whole thing by putting two or three fast travel points on each individual block. Further more both games destroyed all incentives to explore by having the worst and least fun driving physics I've ever seen, something that has been cross breeded with planes, trains and cycles with bent wheels, thus effectively forcing to use teleporting as a main method of moving. Are those things developed better or worse in this game? Are the fast travel points still too abundant and is driving a car still equal to being a non-consensual slave in BDSM sex scene?
@@anteshell The fast travel points are almost non existent from what I’ve seen. Only hideouts like wd1 But the driving it’s so arcade like. The driving has absolutely no weight or momentum, all the vehicles feel a lot slower. Normally it would be something I would complain about. However given the pure chaos of the tightly knitted streets that London has. That level of response is needed and feels great when you’re literally squeezing through cars without a scratch. Even npcs can get into random car accidents too without any of the player input.
@@Divergent-ym3py Yeah, arcadey driving physics can be absolutely fun but it requires the same level of predictability as the real world has. WD1 had so large disconnect between what driving should feel like and what it was in game that I never learned it properly. WD2 had a slight improvement on predictability which made it tad easier. More space on roads might have been a factor too. Where would you set this game on a line defined by the two previous games?

Thanks! Really cool video. I've played the main mission and have to say this game is a joy to play
nothing u havent heard b4 but kno that this video is top shelf content!
Thanks man. I've watched a lot of these and this is one of the few where there were tips I didn't know. I.E. WEAK SPOTS.
@5:05 lol... be sure to pause video on Alex character sheet to see his stats..lollllll
You can just hack a vehicle and spam forward and backward a few times quickly to get people to ditch it and take it without repercussions
These tips are gold!
Ty!
Hold up did Johnny Depp just drift into a park !? Lmao
this is the best wdl tips an tricks yet LOL
1:11 Okay Palpatine
Lol. That's two this month I did.
I have to try the taunt someone to open a gate one. Never thought that might work. Cheers!
Tip#3: Don't worry, all the packages are insured. Amazon's losing out.
They definitely aren't in the game universe though. When you go into the Parcel Fox (Legion's amazon equivalent) Centre in-game you can find a template email for customer complaints, which says:
" Mr. [ENTER_CUSTOMER_NAME],
Thank you for contacting Parcel Fox Customer Service. We strive to ensure that our customers receive exemplary service by our ultramodern fleet of delivery drones.
We are very sorry for the loss of your [ENTER_PRODUCT_NAME_HERE]. If you read Parcel Fox's terms of service agreement, which you signed upon submitting your package for delivery, you will see that [ENTER_CLOSEST_RULE_VIOLATION_HERE] by Parcel Fox violates our policy.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to you on the loss of your [ENTER_PRODUCT_NAME_HERE].
On behalf of the team here at Parcel Fox, and myself, please accept this coupon for a 10% reduction in rate on your next Parcel Fox delivery.
Be well,
Amanda"
So you are definitely screwing the end customer when stealing the packages. Not that it stops me from doing it, lol.
@@imcaligula1287 Wow, that sucks. Their packages will fund Dedsec, then Dedsec is going to have to sue/sabotage Parcel Fox for unfriendly consumer practices.
This video is strange because I'm definitely going to buy the game now but I'm worried this spoiled a lot. I'm curious if there's more complex unspoken things in this game.
Didn't spoil much at all. These are "strange" / unorthodox tips.
This game is actually really fun. I wish I knew all of this sooner
What mask has the gas mask with helmet combed
edit: I have figured out that the helmet comes from purchases one of two things, either the season pass for $40 or the leopard character for $10
Let’s go I got the season pass so W for me does that include the helmet?
@@DandifiedToe the leopard character you can buy comes with the helmet gas mask and it’s equipable with any character and it is included in the season pass
At first i thought i would know everything already but hey this tips are gold! And i tested a lot of things
So i decided to give this game another shot and now that I look at it again most of the problems i had with the game weren't even problems to begin with because they already had it in the game. You know, i feel like people did exactly what I did, put around 30 minutes into it at launch and then never touch it again.
Very cool tips mate
1:41 I got softlocked doing this :/. It put me in a room that was locked. Once I finished the task it closed and was still locked because I never hacked it. I also already knocked everyone out... no one could get me. :c
Very useful. Thank you.
Thanks Alex , I was getting frustrated with this game , You gave me some hope 😆✊
Good luck, have fun!
Tip 1 is a good one for new players of the series. Watch dogs 2 gang attack was my method of choice in that one. I wish this game had something similar
Wow such advanced tips. This must be a good game
Thanks for some good tips!
GREAT VIDEO!!! Thank you. I love your gaming thought process (from what i can tell from your video's anyways) and your presentation. Thanks bro. Keep up the good work.
I really do hope you do a play through when it comes out
This video made me want to buy the game.
Anyone know how to get the helmet and clothing from the thumbnail?
Money
Yeah I believe that is the Leopard or something bundle that you can buy in the store
Grenade launchers are one of the best weapons in the game, can finish off huge groups of people, no need to run out of ammo, pick them up off dead bodies.
ridiculously underrated game, it's like a vague-rogue-lite gta-london with some actual decent interiors lol
@d R it's great, especially the roof hopping using drones etc. Amazing game all around
Have you ever managed to get a person you were supposed to be escorting out of an area onto a cargo drone? That would make life so much easier sometimes.
Lol, your tips are genius. Definitely will try these.
Have fun!
Spy and Professional Hitman are the only go-to's I use.
