Sims 3 Pets pack was my favorite, cause it had horses, you could befriend deer, and there were unicorns in the game that ypu could find and even adopt if you become close enough to it. I miss my unicorn lol.

I once got a Unicorn stucknjn my house because my game glitched! A load of horses ran through the wall into my house but couldn't get out. So I reset them and they were fine. But then a Unicorn glitched in there and I just left it. So my family had to work around this Unicorn that lived in the kitchen. (Motherloded the funds for that house so the kitchen was pretty huge lol)
When I was a kid, I had Sims 2 Pets on PS2 and one time I went on holiday and I asked my cousin to look after them because I deadass thought that if I didn't play it everyday they'd all die 🤣
This comment reminds me of when I asked my nanny (she lives in my house) to take care of my tamagotchi when I went to school. I taught her how to do it multiple times before I went. At the afternoon I came home RuNnInG because I was worried and guess what I was right, she didn't feed it and it died. Biggest disappointment in humanity during my childhood.
I really wish sims 4 cats and dogs had been a fully fleshed out pets expansion. I know a lot of work goes in to making these games but it felt like a lot of money for just cats and dogs and no other pets... Even sims 1 had hamsters and "interactive" fish and parrots n stuff...

Ngl, Sims 2 pets on DS was amazing. You had a vet clinic and you could treat the animals and there was a cooking mini game. I played that game 10 years ago and I still get nostalgia from it

Man, Sims 4 is such a train wreck. Filled to the brim with glitches, bugs, dumb gimmicks, plastic looking everything and hollow game play. It has good things too but the bad things are so immersio braking and/or infuriating that the game play is just bad.
This reminds me of when i use to glitch cas by going to the scrollbars and moving them to the highest or lowest side going to a different section so it rests, then go back and moving it back to what i had set it at and then repeat until I'd inflated them like a balloon or out flattened them till they're practically invisible, (both would turn my pet inside-out) then I'd turn the fur green and name them things like stick and bush. Gosh i love the sims 2.
Indoor Dog Pen is actually from Apartment Life and it works just like cages with parrots or pigs, you can't put your actual-part-of-household pets there but you actually have to buy a small dog from clicking on it. You can give it a closer look when you will be showing TS2: Apartment Life.
