J.I.D. played drums when he was younger he would hear music patterns different so he can rap unique pockets that most rappers can't definitely is influenced by the beat when rapping he was smart mastered his voice early when started rapping by the the time he got recognized which was later near mid 20's he didn't have to find his voice after being signed was already a beast
