They fell 7 times at the stairwell (which honestly I’m impressed by, I expected like 20 falls with how long that stairwell is tbh), and you’re only allowed to fall 3 times on normal circumstances, crazy
There are some ways to make that stage easier- the anti-ghost suit gives you a couple extra hits, I think it's like 6 or something, and there's a glitch that allows you to have unlimited hits (I know this is a thing in the North American version, I don't know if it's also in the Japanese one)- if you get hit by the ghosts twice, and then get hit by a ghost in one of the doors on the third hit, it will effectively make you invincible. I think this was the strategy used on this run, since it also uses the ghost alarm exploit (which makes it a glitched run anyways) and I don't see it equipped on the shop screen. There's also the sound generator, which is so expensive it's hardly worth it, even with the ghost alarm exploit.
@@HowDoUPlayGames lol, no shit, you fucking idiot, but that's 100% NOT what he's doing here. He couldn't do it so used codes to show the video. Editing is also a wonderful thing. What are your pronouns, little lady?
Buying the Ghost Alarm for $2,000 and selling it gives you $3,000 for a $1,000 profit. I use that glitch to get $35,000 so I can buy the Anti Ghost Suit and enter the Zuul building.
Somehow i don't enjoy watching glitched runs that basically skip most of the game, like shadowrun snes soeedrun, it feels to me like skipping the interesting part of optimizing the gameplay for time saving or refining your gameplay skills. In any case, thanks for the video ❤️
@@ChromeCobra he didn't use cheat codes. In this version (Japan) you can literally sell the ghost alarm for more than the buying price, earning enough money to skip straight to zuul. I dunno whether it would be a glitch or just a really big oversight though.
He stated in a previous comment that he bought ghost alarms for $2,000 then sold them for $3,000. He did that until he got the anti-ghost suit. This exploit is Japanese version only
damn, this is impressive. now hurry up and rest our heroes!
Nice reference
Now hurry up and rest, our heroes! That’s 10 points deducted.
Whoever designed that stairs run in the game ruined my childhood. Thank God for game genie

Why do you get all that extra money in the beginning? I know you buy the anti ghost suit, but it looks like you have 16k left over.
You need 15k to enter the Zuul building.

until you have to hear it for hours. I had this game as a kid when it came out

"Well, maybe not that bad."
I think this game is far worse than Jekyll and Hyde

Jesus, it wasn’t that bad.
