Hey there, just watched your videos. i relocated to SA from England over 30 yrs ago, and I am still finding new places. I fell in love with the Motherland and was so blessed to be a part of the change and to become a SA Citizen. Thank you
Thank you for this ... I truly love my country and its people. Welcome, and trust that your experience will continue to be all you hoped it to be and more.
Nursed a woman who had been a US diplomat, she had lived and worked in 27 countries in that time On retirement she bought her last home in South Africa I was a little bemused as to why, I know my country doesn’t exactly have the best reputation worldwide Simple, she said, you are the friendliest, kindest peoples I have ever met. This is my home now. Brought a lump to my throat, I’m so proud of my country and hate seeing it so reviled in the press
Wow thanks for sharing that. Yeah I think that this place has been portrayed in a very unfair way and there’s a lot of good to see in it past the issues
The natural beauty of the country surpasses the infrastructure. The landscapes are a beauty. You should enjoy Mpumalanga, KZN and Limpopo provinces, to name a few. SA is an all rounder.
Welcome to Africa, and specifically South Africa! I am blessed to call South Africans “my people”. Now that you are here it’s time we get you into rugby and get you that green and gold Springbok Jersey! That way you can share our sense of national pride the right way. I expect to see you having braais , eating Biltong and watching rugby with friends! ❤❤❤
I'm a South African from Cape Town now living in Chicago but also lived in Australia and England. I love living in the States but trying to convince my American hubby to retire in South Africa when we're older. Enjoy SA, there's something truly magical about that place ❤
I think every South African will have something to say about their corner of the country, but I can also highly recommend the Eastern and Northern Free State. The Maluti and Drakensberg mountain ranges are something to behold as well as the Golden Gate highlands where sandstone and snow meet in the winter.
Try scuba diving at Kosi Bay, Sordwana, Umkommaas, Plett, Knysna, - those are the warmer dive sites. Some of them in the world top 10!!! Welcome to South Africa mate! We need people like you here!!!
❤ Thank you my brother. SOUTH AFRICA 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦 is indeed a beautiful country with diverse cultures. The spirit of UBUNTU is valued here...its just that some people take advantage of our kindness.
Thank u from sharing the positive side of south africa and it's people and not just the negative side of our beautiful country. Yes we do have our challenges that we face but so do other countries as well, but we are still very much proud to call ourselves south africans. I believe south africa got so much more to offer. ❤
Thanks for sharing. I have lived in Joburg my whole life and am moving to the Western Cape next year. Truly the most beautiful place in the world. And having travelled to many overseas countries, we have the friendliest people in the world. Welcome! Keep the videos coming!
I loved your video. I too feel the same about Cape Town. I spent six weeks there this time last year. Had planned to stay at least six months but had to return for some unforeseen family reasons. I'm returning in March and hope to fulfill my promise to myself to experience it and then make the decision if I want to stay. Perhaps I'll run into you while there!
Welcome and explore as much as you can. I still get amazed by the lamdscape amd people doing their own thing simply....We shall also live and learn thru your adventures.
You're speaking about the diversity here in South-Africa. What a lot of people from other countries don't know is that we have eleven official languages here in South-Africa. We are referred to as the rainbow nation.
@@ashleysimthi4852 That would be nestle, Johnson & Johnson, Coca Cola, Vodafone, Barclay's basically the same multi-nationals that we are all familiar with.
South African born and raised and every time i watch videos like this it plucks at my heart strings. I worry though, I've seen what tourists can to to a "naturally beautiful" place, how it can be destroyed and i'm affair videos such as this one will bring ruin. Please don't turn our country into a dump.
just came across this channel because of this vid, Welcome home my brother!!! hope to meet you one day , i stay in jhb but home is in the Northwest...stay blessed and keep on making awesome vids about our country!!
Thank you for coming here to South Africa My home land is very beautiful despite its challenges which will never be seen to people from outside the country we believe in UBUNTU meaning HUMANITY ,RESPECT AND DIVERSITY
Some tourist advice, it's a tradition to go to the Cape Flats and make fun of the locals teeth. They have great humour and as a funny prank they might pull out a fake water pistol at you. Have fun!
As a South African 🇿🇦 living in the U.S 🇺🇸 this was wholesome to watch ❤
