Also, one interesting thing I thought of but did not put in is that the Alux have some similarities with Hobbits in Tolkien’s work. They are small and tend crops well, and like Hobbits, they are very good at throwing stones. This is quite a coincidence, so I am not sure if some Norse or Celtic legends also have small rock-throwing creatures that might have inspired him.
