Does anyone else feel like Casshius Green? When he says that some people look stuck, and that one day nothing will ever really matter. Life’s a real weird thing, especially when you don’t have it figured out. I for sure don’t. But I hope whoever is going through something similar where they can’t seem to find meaning, gets through it; you deserve to be happy
@@oj9966 i know... i have been ironic... I'm not white, and i think the movie is piece of art, stain by a #hatewhitepeople... Like clearly saying if you are a person of color everything bad that happens to you is because the white people and is better be a loser than a sell out and get a job and try to succeed... the horse man are black man and are a representation of the black man(i don't remember the exact word, but in slavery times there was a word to refers to the black men as workhorse)... they don't represent people living on trailers, because that people with no money and no food on the trailers are white privileged people... With all my respect I don't think that people living in trailers have a better live than me because they are white... that's stupid, i have obtained everything by hardworking. I hate the message because my kids are getting this stupid message... My kid told me he fail a test because his teacher is white... I took the textbook and i made him question on the first paragraph and realize he hadn't study... I have been in this world 35 years and never a white men dictated my destiny, the problem is that this people is filling our communities with excuses to stay losers. Off course, if not who will buy the songs that talk about abuse drugs and beat women.....
Easily my favorite film of the last decade. Cassius Green = Cash is Green lol Insane attention to detail. The photos on the call centre wall are especially hilarious
mmm, thank you for giving me a sentence to describe it. two great flavors that go great together. this movie felt like "they live", which zizek references when he eats from the trash
This movie is ahead of its time. Shit almost became too real it's only since the pandemic, BLM protests, etc. that Netflix has decided to push this movie. Boots is really self aware of our whole generation. I also love how Boots explains the white voice thing. I guess I didn't even think of it that way, but we all have a phone voice, customer service job voice. The fact that it's been dubbed "the white voice" just shows that America will use race and socioeconomic standing interchangeably to pit people of the same socioeconomic standing against one another. What that is is a service voice. Anyone who has been subservient to another person in America has used that voice. Put on that performance as Boots says. By saying that voice belongs to white people, it puts people of other races even lower on the totem pole than a demographic (middle/lower class whites) that still isn't elite. That's very fucked up that we've allowed that to happen as people.
why is everybody talking about the white voice, how about talkimg about unions that pay a livinh wage, or the capitalism that is sending jobs elsewhere.
looks like the media is pushing the agenda that the movie is a comedy, by asking the same question about the white voice. be unique and ask about corparate greed, equal pay, your smart.
I thought the movie ended being so self-prententious - a boring movie where its clear the director thinks he's creating an important piece of art. The movie has become SO overrated and the people claiming its brilliance go on like those self-important faux-intellectual art critics. I'd urge you all to watch this movie - see for yourselves. I found it a struggle to reach the end. One of those where if I watched in a Cinema, I would have probably walked out. But as I've said, judge for yourselves.
if you care about social justice, activism, critiques of capitalism etc, then it is a very interesting movie. If you just want to see a normal movie, then yeah, it would seem boring. But a lot of intellectuals that like this movie are people that study for a decade, sweat, work shitty jobs to pay for their education, and have to fight to finish their degrees. Calling intellectuals pretentious is missing the point. The people that support this movie care about society and making it better through critique.
Jaja this movie boring? Nah, I've worked shitty job after shitty job and haven't seen a movie depict what that's like so well. It's like the elephant in the room we don't talk about, how our socio economic system is rotten down to the roots. How it negatively impacts the world long term. This movie made you feel so strongly you felt the need to compose a comment. If it really was so boring I think you wouldn't comment at all, you'd be doing something better, you'd be apathetic about this film and forget it. You saw this movie and needed to find videos online to talk about it, you spent precious minutes of your limited time on earth to do that. I hope to see more anti capitalist films like this. The establishment is terrified of them. They want to keep the masses completely ignorant about the class war
@@britndayz wow, it's so pretentious and dull that it unforgettable. I'm sure the was some random rap based that kept repeating the N word as some sort of lame parody. The movie was so hyped. But it's perfect for those Arty Farty types. You should recommend it to your friends and family. Watch it with them 👍 I'm actually a fan of bad cinema, there's some awesomely entertaining B movies, and Z movies some real crappy fun. But this movie was self-important pretentious Crap - in my opinion. But yeah, i recommend that you recommend it to your friends n family. If you love it that much. 👍
This was NOT my favorite movie of all time and I thought it was extremely disturbing! I don't understand the Horsemen. I don't understand was the main character had a headwrap with stained blood and nobody was concerned. This made the big screen because it's top of line HollyWEIRD.
Ten Veils you seriously don't understand the horse-men? Aka workhorses aka labor force aka you? Genetic alterations carried out in the near future, a class of humans who exploit, enslave, and allow wars for their personal profit? What a lack of morales allows you to do/what you can justify @ the top of the food chain? Think deeper, it was disturbing to you because it touched on ultimate fears YOU aren't ready to admit or understand. It was not confusing, you just need to educate yourself on the world.
If the horses are work horses why did he have to take drugs to become one? Don't you just have to go to public school? The horse men were chained and in stalls in the bathroom. Are you kidding me why would I get that? Ok so thanks for the answer to one question why was the girl twirling a sign? What is that suppose to mean?
bro, some things are just straight forward. do you have a friend that is over qualified and under employed? thats what thie sign twirling represents. a reality that a lot of people face. sign twirling is a dead end job. she was way over qualified to be a sign twirler, which represents probably how a lot of young people are under employed right now. and the horse thing??? are you serious - do you not understand allegory? the mvoie wanted to take some artistic license with that instead of just showing grueling reality. a little sci fi to make it interesting.
this movie was an ill piece of art
Absolutely Boots is the best artist of my generation.
this art makes you sick ?
A lot of hidden truth about cryptids
i feel like sorry to bother you is a direct reflection of our world. the people running the world are monsters
It seems like it moved the absurdism up a notch to give people who are blind to it the perspective of those who see it
Alex Jones warned us about human/animal hybrids. So when you say "direct" I hope you know in every sense of this movie.
Thomas Wall it’s hyperbolic for sure but the idea that elites want complacent slave labor that is ultimately more productive is pretty on the nose.
Trying to make more monsters
All of the acting was phenomenal , I love this movie.

existentially, yes.
You look fat and ugly, grow up.
All you need in life is a hot wife to make children with.
The fact it looks 70's with one ear in the audio. Beautiful
This movie was great and filled with subliminal messaging that I will enjoy after many viewings, like Fight Club.

Great movie I gotta see it again.
I was really impressed with this movie; I told everyone close to me to watch it.
Can't wait to see what Boots does next - hopefully more films!
I think its in the works, and the pandemic surely has influenced him
Bravo, Boots! This movie was fantastic 👏🏻
Definitely one of my favorite films.
I love your camera man. FUCK, its so fucking nice how hes zooming in and out naturally between a one and two shot.
Great interview! I felt like the interviewer really did her research
Brah, you rock that Afro and Jim Kelly sideburns very well..And you do have his swagger too ♥️.
She literally asked if theyres an underlying meaning right after he explained the underlying meaning
And said "underlining" instead of "underlying" twice.
Just saw the film. It was great. Highly recommend. Seems like an amazing guy all around....
the movie was a zizekian horror movie. absolutely fabulous

Outstanding movie.
“Subconsciously” everyone keeps saying “unconsciously”.
You don’t speak when you are unconscious is the best way to remember.
His name is cash is green
Casshius green
He's a genius
Wait, what was he gonna say at the end about not wanting to be heavy handed?? I want the heavy handedness! what was he gonna say
That's probably where he was talking about the movie being about the dangers of end-stage capitalism and how we need communism.
Wow. She didn’t understand the movie at all
why is everybody talking about the white voice, how about talkimg about unions that pay a livinh wage, or the capitalism that is sending jobs elsewhere.

Underlining is almost the opposite of underlying...
One watch was enough for me. lol
IM TIRED OF LISTENING TO DIFFERENT REPORTER FROM MSM ASKING THE SAME QUESTIO.""WHAT ABOUT THE WHITE VOICE""" THIER ROBOTS.
Her white voice is hilarious 🤣
My man look like.. nevermind, that's too easy.
