bo's swing looks like it incorporates pitching mechanics too. he's standing on one leg and swinging that left leg down more like a pitcher than a hitter.
Why did Bo change his batting setup and his swing, after batting .306 in 2023? What happened to the line drives to the opposite field where Bo led the league in the hits? What happened to Bo's swing extension where he hit sliders into the right field corner, pitches that other batters whiffed on? How can a .306 batter make swing changes and stick with them and a .229 batting average. Other Jays tried swing changes but went back to their old swing style when the swing adjustment didn't work.
It’s truly amazing being a Blue Jays fan and watching this and many of our other players every night. When we heat it up this year look out second half is our time!!!!
Unless he is sitting something specific, looks like he launches his barrel directly behind the ball which allows him to drive fastballs the other way and pull off speed. And his separation is phenomenal, he gets everything out of his body when he is dialed in.
That's laughable... He asked: "What's changed (between Sept 2022 and now)?" Even a blind cow could see all the subtle and not-so-subtle changes Bo made. Are you kidding me?! 1 - His lead foot, for one. Heal is way up, cocked and weight shifted back and loaded. 1a - Toe is also pointing back a bit. 2 - Back elbow on a greater angle. Hands lower. 3 - Bat resting angle more forward. Lead elbow on closer to 90 degrees. For starters... He can't see that?! Geez...
@@greatestsportslegendsbro thank you lmao,, i started getting into baseball like a month ago as i’ve always been a basketball fan and coach. within a second i could explain more about what’s different in his batting stance
I've played baseball, I'm Canadian who's favorite sport has always been baseball....I can not explain it to you sir. That or war lol I think the best new stat is whip. I don't look at anything on a pitcher accept whip, era and so/9
Basically an OPS equivalent stat where 100 is the MLB average which means adjusting for park factors like elevation/yard size etc to put everyone on the same playing field.

The fact that he can do ALL of these and be an even BETTER hitter is remarkable. You need to go find another sport to analyze.
such a gorgeous swing too, that wild ass helicopter follow through never gets old either lol
Glad to have him in Toronto !
How bout now

low walk rate is the only hole right now but makes up for it by a hard high contact rate.
hole cant be fixed cause he is such a good hitter that swings a lot
he likes to battle. Doesn't take a walk easy

Bo Bichette in high school kinda looks like Mike Trout
De Rosa is the best analyst
💯%
bo is raking
Bro he’s under .200

His defense has also gotten a lot better this season as well.
I don’t usually predict young guys to get 3,000 hits. Bichette is the exception.
Great vid🤘
If he can sure up his defence i want him around for the rest of his days in the show.
If he doesn't improve his defense, they can keep him as DH.
Zach Neto same swing 👀 both SS 👀 something to come? 👀
Go with the flow
1:55 "He's two of em" Crazy how far ahead aaron judge is from the avg player...
Why the hell didnt you show his average with two strikes. His best stat.
Bo has been him for awhile now
I’ve been a baseball fan my entire life, can someone explain wRC+ to me in a dumbed down way? I’ve never understood it.

@@jamieshouldbeavailable baseball is so stat focused now I just can’t keep up and I’m not even 25 😂

All you need to know is that 100 is league average, higher is better. Same goes for any stat ending in +
Kinda reminds of josh donaldson's swing but more advanced
3,000 hits easy for this dude
Reminds me of Michael young swing
lol I commented before I saw Michael young comparison good de ro
This man setting himself up to land the biggest contract in baseball..

Bo Bichette=Complete Hitter & a walking error💯
This didn’t age well. Beautiful swing thi.
Lauren looks so delicious
He really needs to cut that hair -- but he won't. That Bo Flo is wack tho
Better hair than Jesus.
Spend less time worrying about another man's hair
Jealousy is a drug
This guy doesn’t know much about hitting! Weak analysis. Shoutout Bo though
Please leave MLB bo
Ya, it be nice if he’d lose his ego n slide over to 2nd. He costs us games beyond measure with his atrocious defence. Guy is a human error at short.
