he's standing on one leg and swinging that left leg down more like a pitcher than a hitter.
Bo Bichette in high school kinda looks like Mike Trout
low walk rate is the only hole right now but makes up for it by a hard high contact rate.
hole cant be fixed cause he is such a good hitter that swings a lot

It’s truly amazing being a Blue Jays fan and watching this and many of our other players every night. When we heat it up this year look out second half is our time!!!!
Unless he is sitting something specific, looks like he launches his barrel directly behind the ball which allows him to drive fastballs the other way and pull off speed. And his separation is phenomenal, he gets everything out of his body when he is dialed in.

1 - His lead foot, for one. Heal is way up, cocked and weight shifted back and loaded.
1a - Toe is also pointing back a bit.
2 - Back elbow on a greater angle. Hands lower.
3 - Bat resting angle more forward. Lead elbow on closer to 90 degrees.

Why did Bo change his batting setup and his swing, after batting .306 in 2023?
What happened to the line drives to the opposite field where Bo led the league in the hits?
What happened to Bo's swing extension where he hit sliders into the right field corner, pitches that other batters whiffed on?
How can a .306 batter make swing changes and stick with them and a .229 batting average.
Other Jays tried swing changes but went back to their old swing style when the swing adjustment didn't work.
I don’t usually predict young guys to get 3,000 hits. Bichette is the exception.

Basically an OPS equivalent stat where 100 is the MLB average which means adjusting for park factors like elevation/yard size etc to put everyone on the same playing field.
All you need to know is that 100 is league average, higher is better. Same goes for any stat ending in +
