As a native Californian the city needs to repair the sidewalks. Y’all pay to much taxes to have to deal with this.
In my city in CA..the home owner is responsible for repairing the sidewalk...how about that 🤔

Cole, I’m a mom with over 26 years of experience with spinal cord injury and that electric chair is not good for you at all. Have you looked into the Batec Trike, it’s amazing for one & fast ! You won’t have to get out of your chair, it clips in easy & your beautiful wife can have an amazing ride with the dog, it’s so amazing & saves going through 10 chairs before you find one that you can fly with ect ect. The city should definitely repair those sidewalks. They are hazardous for any pedestrian. You need to show them clips of the video. I think they can be sued if there is an accident!
There is no way to repair them.. the engineering of them was the problem. They put these sidewalks in when the trees were just saplings. They grew, the roots lifted the sidewalk, that's the way it is now. Earthquakes don't help either. If they want to be in California, this is what they will have to deal with 🤷♀️
That chair looks powerful, & it really is, BUT, do you know who that Chair isn’t more powerful than? It’s NOT more powerful than the Beautiful, Brave, & Strong WARRIOR sitting in it!! That chair maybe powerful, but it’s not as powerful as Cole, & Charismas Beautiful, inseparable, Unconditional Love!! Those side walks are rough from the tree roots growing under them . Good thing you were able to get that chair. Can’t wait to see what adventures yall go with it.

I have a Quantum Q6 edge hd and I flipped it last December had to have two ambulances and a firetruck along with a very large police response. I was out in the road I did get the police body cam footage but holding on to it till we can hopefully get something done to make our sidewalks more handicap accessible in our area. I was flipped upside down in the street for about a half hour. But wow I wish I had one of those chairs.. I know they are 22,000 a piece or something.

You need to level out your chair with the button on the left handle. You need to wear your seatbelt and see if you can get a safety wheel for the back your action track so you don’t tip
I love this, This new found freedom the rider has given cole literally brings the savage in Cole but in a good way. You see his personality more and he’s basically a daredevil in a way. This is probably one of my favorite video so far. I

PLEASE call the city or even submit a copy of this video to them so they can come out to fix the sidewalks before someone get hurt and they get sued. I'm in california and they came out and fixed my sidewalk.

Yea those sidewalks are terrible. I thought we had some bad ones.
We pay enough property tax. Get the sidewalks fixed, even if you have keep bugging City Council or whomever. That looks dangerous for anyone. Sending a copy of the video along with your complaint should be effective. Good luck. Loved the video, especially the comic relief!!

Shocking how bad the sidewalks in your area are, never stopped to think as an able bodied person just how much the uneven pavement may and do affect someone in a wheelchair , you shouldn’t have to be going onto roads , the tank chair is pretty cool 👌
If you called the county or the city government in which you live, they will fix those sidewalks that make it inaccessible for you to go over in your wheelchair.
Maybe. My city takes years for one small bump to shave down (but then can asphalt other things next day, it's weird).
In my city every single block has major issues 😅 so they wont fix it enough for my electric chair
In PA, homeowners have to foot the bill for sidewalk repairs.
@@bethanynapier9407 isn't it so frustrating how sidewalks can be? Sometimes they're public, city property. Sometimes they're (inexplicably) homeowner/property owner property (even though the city usually builds them). It's always such a struggle!

So happy you got your track chair. Gives you so much more freedom to explore. Glad you adjusted the anti tipper for saftey. Some of those sidewalks are really bad and the city should take care of them before someone gets hurt. I'd send them the video so they can see how bad some of them are.

I can go up steep hills in the forest. It’s nuts. You can also have a ton of different options like a gun holder fishing rod holder cupholder. You can also have something to hold an umbrella over you.

Sidewalks are sometimes dangerous; I was out walking with my sister to try out my new rollator walker and I would have fallen several times due all the cracks. It would be great if all sidewalks were smooth & even and the crosswalks wasn't so high. Great video as always.
Imagine if you did turtle the tank chair. Man it would be hilarious but incredibly difficult to get it back up with you in it.
My powerchair can only just do 2 inch kerbs but it can turn 360 in its own space and leaves funky tracks.

Where I live the city would issue summons on all cracked and uneven sidewalk. The owner of the property must maintain the sidewalks.

Those sidewalks are dangerous for anyone! So many messed up ones. I’m surprised the city doesn’t make the home owners fix them. Are there tree roots under there?
It’s not the homeowners fault. It’s a city issue. The trees were planted by the city

That huge bump I have cerebral palsy and without a chest strap I would've been on the concrete Plus probably hurt my back from the bouncing while the chair is very cool I don't think I would like it for that reason but I love you guys always thank you for sharing
In Los Angeles you can dial 311 to request street and sidewalk repairs. It may take a few months or a few weeks but they will get to you eventually.
