@@jacktheflash8478 The only way he could make the cut is if the leak is true, which it can if they either add a row at the bottom which would have 8 characters or add another column with 6 characters and have koopa freerunner and snes mario be character costumes (Like Yoshi and shy guy)

My theory is that he was an abondoned toad from toad town because he infected many toads with the blorbs and was raised in bandit way. He then made a new identity to himself called Nabbit. Then he moved to the mystery island from new super Mario bros U. He has an habit of stealing from toads as a revenge of what they did to him.
Perhaps Tatanga from Mario land?
My theory is:
He's a rabbit from a far away land that was banished for excessive stealing. One day he found himself in the Mushroom Kingdom and found a scarf on the ground, that used to belong to Junior before he lost it. Through the years he realized he could steal from the bad guys and be useful, so he went from burglar to vigilante.
