One of my favorites is "Love Buzz", the main bass riff is bouncy and fun to play! That's honestly one of my favorite Nirvana songs overall, not only does it sound like Nirvana should, it's kind of complex for a Nirvana song. And thanks for the "Sliver" shout-out, I'm a gigantic fan of pop punk and that song in particular has always stood out to me because it's the closest they came to sounding like a pop punk band, it's bright and happy sounding which greatly contrasts the rest of Nirvana's discography. It even lyrically matches a pop punk song, it's about growing up, it's one of their greatest deep cuts!
@@Litt1nger yes, and Nirvana's version is better than the original. It's a case that's similar to "1985" by Bowling for Soup or "I Love Rock and Roll" by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts: they are not the ones who originally created the song, but they are the ones that perfected it.
Which is hilarious because Nirvana is extremely overrated. The most bland band of the big 4. They were grunge’s pop music, super catchy, everyone for the most part liked them, but also very little depth.
@@nirvanaduhg Bleach was decent but Nirvana was overrated dude. There’s no question about it, I’m not hating, they’re a good band but they’re overrated.
I recently started learning guitar and bought an electric and an acoustic, the more I get into it tho, I realize bass is a huge part of a lot of the songs I like. I definitely need to pick one up at some point.
Lounge Act and Lithium are absolute standouts. Some of the only Nirvana songs where Krist really gets to show his chops instead of just following Kurt's root notes.
Usually i play the Nirvana SLTS bass riff like that but in guitar and it's casually the same lol, with the fact that i haven't seen those tabs never in my life
I can't imagine a Nirvana song without bass. For other bands the music usually sounds almost the same without the bass but a Nirvana song would sound all wrong with the bass. That's why I think Krist Novoselic is seriously an awesome but criminally underrated Bassist.
lounge act is easily one of their most underrated songs
Sliver is better lol
@@badg3rrI want whatever you’re smoking
I think one of Nirvanas most underrated songs is the Sappy Demo
thats the absolute truth (covered in security)
Cualkier wea q este en el nevermind no esta infravalorado
damn Lithium bassline is amazing
PP: the power of the pentatonic scale

Novocelic was truly one of the most underrated bassist in his era!

Lounge Act is probably my favourite on Nevermind.

@@nirvanaduhg Soundgarden and Alice were way better. And I don’t even know why Pearl Jam is called grunge, they aren’t heavy at all.
the NOSTALGIA i just got is unreal
Lounge Act legitimately had one of the greatest basslines of the 1990s.
yessssss it’s finally here, nirvana bass never gets enough credit, krist is awesome!
I recently started learning guitar and bought an electric and an acoustic, the more I get into it tho, I realize bass is a huge part of a lot of the songs I like. I definitely need to pick one up at some point.
No thats why you find a bassist then when you realize how important drums are you can get a drummer
lounge act is not only one of their best songs but one of the best song i general. from that bass intro to the powerful last chorus
Lounge Act and Lithium are absolute standouts. Some of the only Nirvana songs where Krist really gets to show his chops instead of just following Kurt's root notes.
I'm so glad you included Lounge act. One of their best basslines by far and one of my all times favorites songs by then in general. 🤘

Krist didn't come up with it so I don't consider it to be a true Nirvana bassline
@@pmx2n really? .. sorry, I didn't know 😅
