You can change the move speed of units when you click on them in the post-victory screen. This way you can have a unit like the griffins join later in the fight
That's good to know, in some rounds where the griffins actually survived the initial encounter they were staying alive for quite a while just from the lifesteal and a bunch of stacked damage.

This ugrade adds another dimension to a great arena battle game. I have found that the summon melee spell is perfect for keeping enemies from getting to your back line. with two upgrades of the spell you get a quick summoning ability so that you can have them spawn in the ememies starting area. This draws almost all enemies to these melee units allowing your army to advance past middle ground. ou should also get at least a dozen archers and/or other backline troops since they have a four tier upgrade to their power.
When the gryphon charges 1st, freeze the enemy they got to so they wont die early and they stack some damage. With the life steal they can deal more damage longer
Interesting observation... the Gryphons starting holding up much better with the lifesteal. I suspect that is actually their jam, since the more they hit the more they heal.

Thanks for showing this off this game. You convinced me to buy it and it is a lot of fun. Has a Vampire Survivors feel to me in a funny way. I guess it is the automatic combat with upgrade choices, the graphics, the characters and the account upgrade paths. Obviously a very different game but has the same satisfying feel to it for me.
The hero who removes friendly fire from spells is stupid powerful, get all AOE spells and summon melee, late game you can summon a tough melee unit right in the middle of the enemy wave which will cluster around them and you can dump 3 high damage aoe spells on them and kill like half the enemies before your troops even engage them. makes the game easy mode.

i think adding races or factions would be cool.... so in each tier you get a choice between 2 or 3 factions and you have to go with them for this tier... maybe elves, humans, dwarfs, orcs, mythical, undead ... the usual suspects

The Dwarven constructs n Golems are the only viable tanks, I hope there's difficulty settings cuz you could cheese the hell out of this game the way the upgrades are structured
the demo broke by buying tier upgrades, by that I mean the game offers the higher tier units and you crush the enemy with them. Also you don't need unit cap unless you want to field the units, you can have units that you just keep at home.
The games problem is that you want to only focus on melee. A ok health, life steal 50% and high damage basically beats everything. And since the frost giants freeze enemies that ATTACK them, they become stronger as there are more enemies. So there is never any reason to buy anything else than frot giants. So het melee summons, bless, heal and one extra spell, live off those until you get frost giants and that ia the monosteategy. I stopped playing after completing the third unlocked difficulty level. It just... is not varried enough
3:05 re, Warband Speaking of which... Whatever happened with the Mount n Blade sequel? Last I'd looked it had been released into an early, early access at AAA full price. Mount n Blade was OK, but it wasn't a Kenshi and their combat was wonky. I've never seen the sequel get to a reasonable price in any sale, so haven't looked into it since the early access release.
Dude the paladin heals 30 health with every swing it says and on the second menu there's a melee life steal upgrade...looks like the makings for an immortal unit, only a 1 hit kill could defeat him

you can't change the deploy order as far as im aware but you can change the move speed of each unit
NICE. only one thing I would like to see is either positioning units at the beginning of battle, or option to move them in real time in battle.
