Personally if I were to get a "support" gun then I'd like to have the bullpup configuration of the PKP but given the manufacturer I wouldn't pay what they're asking, at least without knowing more. The only way I'd consider that price tag would be if it were coming from LCT due to their product quality. It's a stunning replica and there's no doubt a market for it but at that price you're entering into contenders for some serious alternatives.
I just dont know if I can spring 1k for the lct pkp. Ill give it credit that lct makes hands down some of the best looking guns and very accurate if russian is your thing but still 1k is nuts
Those holes could be for mounting it on a vehicle. This PKP is a tactical version so no need to mount it of corse but would be awesome for cqb. Id buy one just to have it but my local cqb field closed about 10 years ago and I have been out of the game for about 9. Really tempted to get back in though.
Any LMG like a M249 with a Fusion Engine in it will get you up there in price. Not quite that high, but with a Rig & Tank....maybe. Nice looking replica though.
Grip is not polymer, is aluminum. There are also two more companies making that AS zenitco grip copy. There is also an alternative bullpup design by an private russian company ( real guns I mean ) witch in term of weight reduction seems much more efficient than the zenitco mod. Has also a bi-pod, witch I think is still a big help for it ( but is just the stock one shifted from the barrel - a half shorter be much better Id say ) - seen in the video from a well known army journalist : th-cam.com/video/JiTe9hBQYZg/w-d-xo.html
I could spend that kind of money, but the thing is that I’m not sure if the internals are good, I’d like to see if the gearbox is of a good manufacture and on wether or not it’ll be reliable for any length of time
To me it's not really got an aesthetic unique enough to justify the pricetag, I've heard of people dropping that kind of cash on an MG-42 or a Browning, but those are rare and gorgeous and stand out a mile away. To anyone not looking too close it'll just look like a modified PKP. I'm sure it'll sell well though, the kind of person who buys an LMG is normally the kind of person with more cash than sense
I don't understand, can somebody explain how this is a Bullpup? Does the belt feed behind the trigger or is this another version of a Bullpup design that I'm not familiar with?

FreeFrag.UK I’ve had mine for over a year now and I absolutely love. Also the steel reinforced parts have survived quite the beating.

Such a cool concept. Not many Bullpup Gpmgs around, strange to have one look as compact as a carbine
They are oddly infact used by some Russian species ops. Not common but yeah definitely used
I've only seen pictures of some spetsnaz A guys using them in testing. Nuts they hit the airsoft world could be a game changer for support roles

Dude, is it solid? Solid? Well-made? Huh?

Yeah it does, the belt will cover the trigger and your hand when in place, right above the grip, just behind the trigger.
