Stockx was pretty dope when they didn’t have all the extra bs fees and they gave you coupons for free shipping. Haven’t used the app in years because prices are to high and shipping is by far the slowest out of all platforms .
I've only used Stockx once, and my order was refunded because the seller didn't ship in time.

Had that happen twice for the same order
Almost 10 orders on StockX in the past 2 years with the first Seller failed to ship. Most times, they do NOT find a new seller at the same price. They just cancel the order, and by then, the price spiked by $50 to $100, and they rarely offer a $20 coupon for inconvenience.

While many are saying the reseller market is dying and the shoes are cheaper on StockX, I want to know if I am buying fake or not. I don't mind buying a fake if I am told it is a fake and I won't pay retail price of authentic sneakers.

I bought from stockX once, and I got my sneakers. I'm never paying 40 extra ever again because of their ridiculous fees and tax in total.

Honestly what I don't like about stockx is you have to pay shipping and handling for each shoe. I bought like 7 sneakers last months and had to pay 7 shipping and handling... but it's the same with goat, flightclub, etc

eBay has its own problems including removing negative feedback for buyers. But other than that everything you said is 💯
One out of the 3 times I ordered from Stock X my order got canceled. The entire process took about 17 days for me to get a cancellation and a refund

If you buy from stock x and you dont like it or you say its fake, you can resell back on stock x with no fees
Bought the France 2022 jersey from the World Cup, the authentic version. I knew it was too good to be true from the price I bought it at. The moment I opened the package I knew the sent the wrong version 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 at least I got my money back and had no issues which was surprising
They messed sneakers culture and I’m glad it’s all crumbling.

2:12 and this is why I usually stick close to goat. At least on there, you can buy used sneaks for fair prices without feeling like you got finessed. Like paying close to retail for some infrared 6s with a beat up box (shoes were in prestige condition). For more context, they were the 2019 release which up until 2021, mfs were asking for 2x retail

Im a hardcore posher and mercari person for buying and selling . I just got approved. I just got about 10 different pairs of shoes on. Goat, I love that goat. I can feel safe about selling my. You know, if I'm selling sneakers for over a $100, I don't want a buyer to say they're fake? So I do like the fact that goat has a way better reputation from not letting fakes go through the door and stockx is stuck with that in their face. So I think no matter what happens, moving forward, stockx is kind of kind of I mean, they're bigger than go I think, are they a little bigger than goat, but they have a bad reputation for letting fix through and goat does not. So I'm glad I have a place when I find sneakers that are worth way more than a $100. I can sell them there if I need to and feel very good about it and get paid once they get authenticated there before the buyer.Even can start running a case on me

Sneakers buy used to be a side hustle for young folks who came from economical deprive neighborhoods, to make some extra money then big companies and rich kids in Beverly Hills who grew up with a silver spoon in their mouth like (the CEO of Nike son)buying everything up and resell it for double the price.

Here’s how to bring down the sneaker market… don’t buy low quality shoes like dunks and Jordan 1s. Who is gonna tell y’all that all these shoes are made in a sweatshop in china. Invest in archive fashion. Something that holds value based on the materials used. Just be yourself. Nobody would wear these Nike products if they weren’t push to you on your avg 8 hours a day of screen time.

Bro, there's no such thing as Res. You either get original shoes or fakes. Fakes are exactly that, bad cuts and materials. What you're calling reps are actually real shoes. Say, Jordan Brand order 500K Jordan 4s made? What's stopping China from making 600K and sell the other 100K on their sites? They have all original cut patterns because they make the shoes?
