I purchased these pants and followed the measurements recommendations on rev'its site and all was good and nice, until I sat on my motorcycle. Then, to my surprise, my perfectly fitted pants went up the leg by about 3-4 cm (1,2-1,6 inches) making them all of a sudden too short. I don't know if this is smth specific to my seat or not or to motorcycle pants in general or not (this is my first pair) but I thought to mention this, maybe it's helpful to someone.

This is totally normal. You want motorcycle pants to be a little long, so that the armor and pant cuffs come up into the right position once on the bike. -DrewZilla

@@RevZilla true but I am talking about the difference between squatting, to mimic sitting on a motorcycle and actually sitting on it. For me, there was a decent difference between these two, about 3-4 cm and that I found to be the big surprise :)I think it's how the seat pushes the pants tight on the crotch, also the width of the seat pulling the material up and so on.

Yes, 3-4cm is normal. Squatting is not the same as straddling a motorcycle seat as you've found. -DrewZilla

At 6:25 Anthony says the goretex liner is backed in but the start he says it's detachable. Going by the product detail page on your site I assume it's detachable is that right? Thanks.

The Gore-Tex liner is indeed removable/detachable, and we apologize for the confusion. -DrewZilla

+Gosa2390 If you ride in the rain a lot, you would probably prefer having the Gore-Tex in the outer shell as in the Poseidon Pants. However, if most of your riding is in hot, dry weather, you would probably prefer to be able to remove the Gore-Tex liner when you know it's not going to rain, so that you get as much ventilation as possible. -DrewZilla

Can I get these Pants in the Antracite/Black like the Defender Pro jacket in Antracite/Black.

+roger jensen Anthracite/Black is not an option for the Defender Pro Pants, but the light grey in the Anthracite/Black jacket matches the grey in the Grey/Black pants. -DrewZilla

Would they fit over knee braces (pod)?

It depends how slim your legs are. If you're in a smaller knee brace size, you should be able to fit these pants over braces. However, I am still concerned about the liners taking up too much space for knee braces to be comfortable. -DrewZilla
