    It's called "Tekkno Version" because it was supposed to be on their latest album Tekkno but ended up not, most likely they weren't able to collect all permissions and licenses on time (remember, the 2005/06 hands-up hit by German dance project Cascada used melody and chorus of the 1992 pop-rock song by Scottish singer Maggie Reilly).
    Founded in 2010 (as Eskimo Callboy) they were a more or less standard metalcore band (Attack Attack! their declared role model), with a mostly humorous attempt and never shy of mixing genres or experimenting with styles. Early in 2020, original lead singer Sushi left to found a new project (Ghostkid). They casted Nico as the new clean singer and decided to introduce him to the fans with a no holds barred - all in - over the top song and video, which was Hypa Hypa (mission accomplished I guess). The rest is partycore history.
    Besides the singer, there was only one line-up change. In 2012 original drummer Micha left in friendship out of private reasons and current drummer David joined. In March of 2022, Micha filled in for a performance on a German tv show (they played Pump It) as David was on a humanitary mission at the Polish-Ukranian border.
    The other members are:
    Kevin, harsh vocals, sometimes keyboards or piano;
    Daniel H., guitar, he does the majority of their production and programming;
    Daniel K., bass guitar;
    Pascal, guitar, he and his brother Oliver run a videography company (Schillo Bros.) which is responsible for the vast majority of their music videos.
    While most of their material since Hypa Hypa is uplifting electronicore like Everytime We Touch, they do have some serious songs too (Hate/Love, Mindreader, Fckboi feat. Conquer Divide [US based multi national all female metalcore band], Parasite).
    Every now and then (even during the Sushi era) they have storytelling videos with the band not appearing, or just in cameos, most of those have popular German youtubers in acting roles.

      The "Tekkno" part is also a nod to the fact the song incorporates bits and themes from almost all the songs in the TEKKNO album.

    I hope you check out more of them, Hypa Hypa and We Got the Moves is what made them take off internationally. I also really love Tekkno Train, Spaceman and Castrop x Spandau (this is in German and a collab with a German TH-camr but it slaps)
    Also I recommend you to check them out live they have live performances on their official channel as well - I really love "Hypa Hypa live in Cologne (Lanxess Arena 2023)"
    I went to their concert in February and I came out a even bigger fan, they are so amazing live, such good performers and down to earth people
    If you want to you could also check out their Behind the Scenes stuff it really shows their goofball side (either the MV making offs or their recent tour vlogs, believe me it's really funny and it has English subtitles in the video)

    An entire world of greatness waits you.
    Electric Callboy are EXTREMELY talented musically. They produce their own music and they also create and direct the majority of their own music videos. They even physically build a lot of the sets.
    The reason they can be so free and silly is that they know they have extreme talent and great songs behind them.

    Welcome to the Electronic Callboy rabbit hole, a fantastic German band that mix metal, EDM, and pure pop into memorable earworms. Their Tekkno album was probably last year's best drop, Just a FUN band maybe go to "We Got the Moves", "Hypa Hypa", "Pump It", "Spaceman" or "Tekkno Train"? EC are great and correctly described as 'the happiest band on earth' by most TH-cam reviewers.

    Hey everyone! I'd like to point out a unique example of the band's comedy that few reactors catch...
    Look closely and you can see David on drums and Daniel on guitar, both playing while IN the fountain!!! It's near the end of the song, when the whole band plus dancers are on the outdoor balcony... You can see it if you look hard, they'll do anything for a laugh 😝
    Thanks for the great reaction to my now-favorite band, whom I just discovered myself only a month ago! They're amazing and fantastic way to brighten your day and fill you with joy! 🙃🥰😎
    Their energy never fails to make me smile 🤗 😂❤

    When you listed all the bands you liked, it was clear that this was gonna be your vibe - enjoy the rabbit hole! All their songs are great, Hypa Hypa and We Got the Moves are great followups, but also if you want to see their more serious side check out Parasite's official video. That song fucking KILLS. They're also outstanding live - MC Thunder Live in Berlin is one of my favorites.
    Cheers and greetings from Berlin :)

    Their transitions are great in all of their songs. Insane production! If you liked this one, you will like the others as well. 😊
    Wait a little before listening to Hurrikan. That one is kinda special and comes with a warning. 😅 It contains a genre i would normally NEVER listen to, because its so corny 😅 (German Schlager). But the video and German lyrics are really funny. Perfect Parody (You should look at the translation first - it doesn’t have subtitles)

    Most, but not all of their stuff is on the humorous side like this one. Like you said, they do not take themselves seriously ... but they take their music very seriously. It's a glorious combination.
