Don't get me wrong I love Anton and Karen but they've both been the leads before. It's time to start giving some of the newer pros the spotlight for once. AJ and Dianne are both amazing and really deserved it.
Fantastic story line guys. Dianne and A.Dav look so young and Dianne looks like she wants to find herself and identity. She has gone through identifying with other people’s emotions and problems. history lessons, finding out how situations can cause anxiety, worries for many people and essentially we as women are all the same in the same boat. Anthony playing Sam Simon frank and Karen in those dungarees cleansing the windows looked lovely together. Brought back so many memories of when I was younger Craig looking like Jesus and dianne as Yvonne elliman - fantastic interpretation then going through an Ann hatherway I dreamed a dream Les miserable building barricades to keep the tigers coming at night.... Lovely interpretation..... I love watching and bopping away to mama mia .... building my barricade.....
I do agree but it's almost like an earned thing. The ones that have been there longest get the most screen time. She's still a relative newbie. Would love to see more of her as the lead though, she's amazing.

Dianne and AJ doing amazing lifts in the back whilst the camera focuses on Anton and Karen 😭 Definitely not hating on Anton and Karen, just saying that Dianne and AJ were dancing fantastically in the back and only got camera time at the start and end. Anton and Karen were amazing, don't get me wrong, but I'm just saying that they should have got more camera time.
I think it is because the story of Mamma Mia mainly focuses on Donna and meeting the dads again and not the story of Sophie and Sky, that is like a sub-plot
It was great to see the judges getting involved in this one as well! I can't believe Craig manages to keep such a straight face when he judges the couples, I bet he's the complete opposite in person
what people (presumably non-dancers) aren't understanding is that when someone has a lead role, they don't always have to be front and centre! the fact that dianne and aj/karen and anton had different costumes, roles and separate choreography is what makes a lead role, not simply being in the front. and for anyone complaining about karen, well she hasn't had a lead role this season so she deserves it too + donna and sophie both have an important role in the movie. and this is coming from a joe fan, i'm happy to see dianne getting a lead role but stop spamming the comments complaining about her being at the back! the choreographers know what they're doing, if the dance had dianne/aj in the front for the whole dance, the other pros would have simply been BACKUP dancers, but this is a GROUP DANCE so the other pros also have a role in it, and it can't only show the lead roles!
Exactly!! Also I think there’s a difference between being the lead and being featured, like Amy definitely was the lead of the Remembrance Day dance as the dance revolved around her, but I would say Dianne, AJ, Karen, and Anton just had featured roles as there was so much going on in this routine
AJ and Dianne are definitely my favourite pros (and some of the best ones by far in my personal opinion)! So happy they got lead, just a shame that they were in the back for most of the dance...
Anton is and always has been a terrific dancer, also singer and comedian. If you have any doubt about this go and see his touring show. He should be where Tess is, at least he will have a better dress sence
