2018 was a terrific year for Strictly, a great series, fabulous final, wonderful winners. This Christmas special was probably the best special ever. Bringing back previous contestants often makes for better shows. The production values, sets and routines were all stunning and what a lineup. Great to see Aston Merrygold win the trophy. The only sadness is knowing that Caroline Flack is no longer with us.
This Christmas episode of SCD is full of festive fun from beginning to end. I loved the end bit where Bruno danced with Tess. Aston and Janette deserved to win the trophy. A pity the song Merry Christmas, Everyone wasn't included, but if it had, I'll bet Shakin' Stevens would have sung about finding Tess Daly underneath the mistletoe and kissing her by candlelight. Tess might have blushed as red as her outfit, at the very idea, I'm sure. Magical Christmas Party. It's a Ten from Len.
A British friend of mine convinced me to watch this with her. And honestly, these performances were way better than the American ones. And yes I am American. This was great and I might plan to watch more of these if I get more motivation. :)

Absolutely loved this Xmas special! Some incredible dancing going on! Aston was my fave, but everyone did a great job! (I'll film a full review this week on my channel and go into detail but just had to come here and say how much I enjoyed it!) ALSO... GO NEIL!! Really enjoyed seeing him shine, Luba was FABULOUS and Johannes!! Omg that dance was just..... 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 Anyone else notice that for some dances the audience were DEAD silent? Wonder why? Maybe because the Kingdom Choir (AMAZING) were performing they didn't want to take away from their performance, but good God that dance was just incredible! And yes I DID notice Aston SLIGHTLY mess up that lift... But I had to over look that because the rest of it was just insane!! AND WHO CAN FORGET JAKE'S TINY TUSH! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
