A Walk Around HARRISON ROCKS | East Sussex

  • In the second of a two-part Video, Al and I are in East Sussex and taking a walk up and around the 135 Million Years Old Sandstone Crags of Harrison Rocks. The Rocks are very popular with Climbers and is owned and managed by the British Mountaineering Council with funding from the English Sports Council. This location was used in 1981 for Peter Davison’s debut ‘Doctor Who’ Story ‘Castrovalva’

    When you filmed at St Mary in the Castle Hastings,you had just above you the rocks I used to play about on as a kid! Happy days!!

      And playing Knights and Castle games as a kid - you used to be able to squeeze through the narrow rocks inbetween but only if you were very little.

    These Rocky outcrops are quite something for the south east aren’t they? I’m guessing these are close to ‘high rocks?’

    Yes, I recognize it from Castrovalva, you really ought to check out ''The Green Death'' location in the village of Deri, Wales. Near Bargoed. I have abseiled down a wall with my son near Blackwood near Caerphilly.
