Good luck with your wedding outfit. I think that jumpsuit would look amazing!! Positive thoughts being put out in the universe for Alice to get in the school she really wants!!
Thank you, Izzy. We applied to other schools, just in case. She has her heart set on this one school (it's also closest to us with a school bus). It's such a stressful time for kids those days. They will need to wait till mid Nov to find out if they got in with the first round of admissions.
Hello, Agata! I loved seeing your dress pictures and the patterns that match up, I can’t wait to see what you create! That jumpsuit is fire on you, my friend 🥰🥰 if you don’t make it for this occasion, you definitely need to make one soon! And I love your tip for restarting your Sewjo, that worked for me last week as well, I got to organizing and folding some fabric and become more enthusiastic about sewing! Worked like a charm 🥰 Thanks for sharing with us, Agata! Happy Sewing ❤~Tiffany
Thank you, Christine. I think it's time of the year. What you said in your video about giving yourself a break and sewing for loved ones when you have a chance really resonated with me. I am so guilty of putting too much pressure on myself.
Hi Agata! You've mentioned Bengaline...... Style Arc (pretty sure? i know it was an aussie company) has patterns that mention bengaline. It was the first time I had ever seen that term; and JoAnn's here has started using the term for their super stretchy gabardine. Closet Core had a Crew pattern earlier this year that has seams in the center front and center back, which I've only tried in ponte. I'm just a little interested in trying it in a bengaline. 😉
Thanks for the info! I will check them out. I was told by a seamstress I know that I could use the same patterns for bengaline as are for ponte, assuming I will cut against the grain and stretch % is same (bengaline has a stretch along the length of the fabric). I haven't tested that theory yet.
Oh Agata I know what you mean about the stupid sizing in the shops now. I recently bought some walking trousers from Mountain Warehouse, the size 8 had a one inch bigger waist than the 10 😂 despite being the same trouser and colour. All they said was well they were made in a different season😮. The quality of sewing is nothing like ours either 😅. You have lots of great options for your wedding outfit, can't wait to see what you come up with. That magazine looks so similar to the Burda ones with all those pattern lines. I've hated sewing this weekend with my two projects, I need to go home and sew another pouch it think 😂. Xx
Thanks for watching Carole. I am still on a fence what to make. But I will be cutting out a muslin for a sheeth dress today, so hopefully, I will have something to report. 1 inch difference between sizes in a wrong way is very weird. Maybe someone put a wrong label with size 🙈🤣
Style Arc has some great bengaline patterns, the Luna would look great at a cropped length. I love the Sage trousers, and there are more that I haven't tried.

Thank you so much! I am planning to just go ahead and make a few dresses and see how I feel about them 🤣🙈
How about the "palazzo suit" - a jumpsuit, but made in two pieces, same fabric. The illusion of a jumpsuit but practical in the bathroom!
That's a great idea - the faux jumpsuit is brilliant. Thank you
I am sure whatever you choose will be beautiful. Seems like several of us have been needing to find our love of sewing.

Thank you for recommendations. Luna pants look very similar to the pants I got from the charity shop that I am planning to change into a pattern
