Definitely not for everyday use, seems pretty good as a car organiser / get home bag. Personally, I think it would be better to pay a fair bit extra for everyday use, and a bit less for occasional use. This is trying to find a price/quality equilibrium, but usually, there is no such thing!

For the water bladder pocket I usually fold a couple of thin shirts and stuff it in as a cushion for back support. I got the 45L one for daily use as a uni student who likes to over carry.

Thanks for the great review! Mardingtop makes some good budget tactical packs as well that have held up to short 5 mile hikes twice a week with 15-20lbs weights. The Reebow looks like a solid option for the price. I think these packs are starting to become a new addiction for me 😳

Hey 'Geektarded', thank you for watching taking the time to comment. Yea, I do agree. I like Mardingtop and made a review on their pack. 5 mile rucking ain't short either lol, that's tough. That's cool you ruck though. Keep growing!

Can the water bottle holder fit a 32oz hydro flask

Oo, that I do not know. That may be a tight squeeze.
I did not keep this backpack. I ended up getting First Tacticals 1 and 1/2 day plus.

How did the pack holdup longterm?

    • @GabeCuello
      @GabeCuello  2 ปีที่แล้ว

It lasted in terms of durability but comfort was a nightmare. I was new to these types of bags and learned more of what I needed; structure backing.
I used these bags originally for rucking or hiking to support my weight loss goals but after long walks and heavy loads, waistbelts and structure became a requirement.
So for me, I didn't keep it. It is still a solid pack. Just depends on your budget and needs.

@@GabeCuello thanks for the reply. I am like you always looking for a good tactical back pack. I may have to bite the bullet and go with something from the more expensive brands.

Thanks for the review. I'd been wondering what the compromise is vs 5.11; the difference is clearly quality; this is cheaply made junk.

    • @GabeCuello

Yea, unfortunately, it's not meant for real scenarios (i.e., combat or law enforcement related scenarios) but more for the tactical look and affordability.
I got another back (budget) I'm going to review soon incase you're interested. I do appreciate you stopping by. Keep pushing yourself intentionally, with max effort.

this just looks like a knock off of the 5.11 rush model, with few changes, and cheaper.

As a tactical freak that pack is a hard no. Definitely not made of high quality.

    • @GabeCuello

Its what they say, "you get what you pay for". It isnt meant for real field work anything worth depending on but perhaps for just the looks, lighter loads, and everyday carrying.
More serious backpacks may be pricier but definitely more dependable. Any particular tactical backpack you love at the moment?
By the way, thanks for watching and supporting my channel.

@@GabeCuello I just bought a Rush 24. It seems to be of high quality. I’m thinking for a bug out bag I should get a Rush 100. I love 5.11 for the quality and durability. Outside of a Army rucksack I don’t honestly know what else is good. All I know is Army. This is my first time buying anything civilian.

      Well for one, Hooah!
Glad you found me and my channel. I made a thorough review on the Rush 24 2.0. It is a high quality backpack indeed.
I also did a comparison of this backpack with the First Tactical Tactix 1Day+. Thats the one I kept (It just works for me). Have you seen those videos?
