Hikaru is incredible to watch of course, but I find some of his eccentricities distracting and off putting to watch for extended periods (for me, I’m referring to repeating sentences constantly and his very ‘thick’ accent - I’m not from the US so maybe it stands out more). Danya clearly enjoys teaching and understands principles of teaching in his speech and methods. All love and its amazing that we live in a time to get free lessons and insight from some of the best players ever for free and daily.

Hey Danya, love the speedrun. is there a way that you could put the episode number in the title of the video alongside the rating number? i.e. Episode 43 - 2100. Would make it easier for TH-cam to understand the ordering. Right now unless I watch them as a "Playlist," I just get the speedrun videos recommended to me in almost random order, which is pretty frustrating.

@@midorimashintaro2613 Thanks. This is definitely an area where I need to improve my chess. I would've seen the open h-file was valuable, but instead of just tossing away the pawn, I would've been looking for a way to trade a bishop for the knight so I could get my pawn back after he took bishop, maintaining material balance. I'm sure it would've been too slow.
