Hi Nelson, don't know whethr you will see this or not but this is my genuine view. I have been following the chess scene now over 2 years. I do see tournaments and streams but I have never been the one to play by myself. I used to do a lot of blunders due to which I never showed interest in playing. Inspite of watching all these TH-camrs and Streamers, I never had the interest to play. But from the time I have been watching your these chess grind for rapid, I have genuinely changed my view towards chess and no one has been able to spark such interest in me yet. The way you explain your thought process is not less than any treasure. I have learned more from your 2 hour live grind than all those fancy chess youtubers and streamers. Maybe all do have different learning styles. It's not like I hit 1000 elo all of a sudden but I have never enjoyed watching someone play chess. You are a perfect teacher, least I can say. ( My current elo is around 700, which never went above 500 before :/) Thanks once again!
Hi Nelson. at minute 1:15:07 you could take black's bishop with the bishop and attack the queen, and he couldn't take the rook because he was losing the queen.
I enjoy learning from Nelson because he is excellent at chess and great at explaining it, while not being an unrelatable chess god like Magnus or Hikaru. It makes me feel a little better about my struggles to see that people in the 2000 level have their own struggles.
I wish you'd do 15 10 instead. I really like hearing your thoughts and I feel like it gives you more time to investigate lines. The increment also means you never really lose on time.
I play the same line white did against the englund gambit and everyone takes that bishop with the speed of light. Iirc after you get the fork on the rook with the knight your position is so much better, black can't castle, you win the corner rook and then desperado the knight for a pawn if you want to. It's also relatively easy to pick up for white, highly recommend. White just lost the game because of the rating difference honestly. Keep up the content Nelson, we love you ❤
Great video, thanks for being such a good instructor! Haha I can’t believe people are so anal about your thumbnail. If you want to make a quick thumbnail with AI to save yourself time (because it really doesn’t matter), then please do that. Especially if it could be better at grabbing viewer’s attention than something you waste time and effort on, and it’s inspiring comments too which is always good 😂

Such an instructive player. Thank you Nelson, really great channel
Great content, what a game the last one. Thanks Nelson!
I LOVE RATING CLIMB
Great rating we see you’re pretty methodical about your approach to the game
It’s the gift of knowledge

pls explain? If he did that the queen would just take the bishop, you silly goose.

Always feel like a GM watching you play and then mess up my own games 😂😂

That knight in the first game was one of the best I have ever seen lmaoo
that was super unfortunate for the opponent.. blocking off their own bishop
Can’t believe your opponent missed the mate at 1:27:40 🎉
That last game was the most entertaining chess game I have ever seen!
1:27:21 epic
Game 2 looked like a transposition to an alapin I usually get as black after 1. e4 c5 2. c3 d5 3. e5
“I have no idea what to do”. This is me every game😂
20:00 close one
❤great stream
1:15:27 Black plays pawn e6-e5?
Good luck and great strategies
Last move from your opponent was explosive c4. It blew up in his face. :)
@chessvibesofficial Neli, you know that if game review says something is the best move and it doesn’t on the analysis its because it went deeper
Game 2 reminded me more of the Caro kann than French def.
Fried Liver
Bravo
Anyone else just start sacrificing pieces with absolutely no plan trying to get a “brilliant” move? Or just me?
Only sacrifice if you see a tactic and good follow up, or you will lose the game always if you hope that your opponent blunders
Great video, thanks for being such a good instructor!

That first game was sexy!
AI can't even place pieces on a square correctly. Please stop using them for your thumbnails
It's a new mod 😂
chess960
